Amaya Hills is breathtakingly beautiful with it's views of the hills surrounding Kandy. The food is excellent both for a la carte and the buffet served nightly. Our main disappointment was our room which didn't have a balcony with a view and also dinner is served at 7.30pm. We were placed in one of the less popular back rooms overlooking...

One of the worst experiences I had so far. The hotel is extremely dirty everywhere (lobby, restaurant, staircases, etc). We booked a superior room, 208 euros per night with breakfast. The room was filthy, we found a chewing gum hanging from the picture above the bed. The bathroom was disgusting: long black thick hair everywhere (including on the 2 and...

This is my Honeymoon hotel so we will never forget this place. Food is excellent with wide choices. The hotel is located on a mountain with great natural surroundings. The rooms have a great view with balcony, and ample of fresh air. Staff were very warm and welcoming. Recommend for any traveler who visit Kandy.

The hotel is in a spectacular location with great views over the hills. The rooms however are not great, smallish in size, with a very compact bathroom. The air conditioning was a little inconsistent and struggled to keep the room cool through the night. The buffet looks stunning, but the quality of food was only ok.

Set in the steep mountains of kandy , Amaya hills is an ideal place to stay for couples, families or guests visiting solo. Reaching the hotel is a bit difficult as the signs are kept to a minimum. The rooms were splendid and the suite we stayed in was equipped with bath robes, shavers and other facilities to make our...

The hotel is located on a mountain with great natural surroundings. Its a steep narrow drive up, but the road is good and the Sri Lankan drivers have some excellent driving skills on this narrow uphill road. The rooms have a great view, and ample of fresh air. The pool is big and the gym is well equipped. However there...

The hotel is located at a top of a mountain and provides a stunning view of the rolling green hills of Kandy. Upon arrival, the staff were very warm and welcoming, and gave us complimentary tea. The room's view was ok, and the room itself didn't reach the standards that we expected (such as instead of a king-sized bed, they...
