This is great place for escape. We have seen squirrels every day of our stay. The pine woods are everywhere. We had a feeling of living in the forest. We lived in the wooden house, with very comfortable beds and ideal atmosphere. We had full board and were more than satisfied in the dining room with the quality and the taste of the food. Sanatorium has strong rehabilitation clinic and good doctors. I wish to come again!
I have spent more than two weeks here now. I am very satisfied with everything. The living conditions are very comfortable. The food is not only responsive to my dietary needs but very tasty. The staff is welcoming and super helpful. There was hardly a need which I had that was not addressed successfully by the staff. If I felt it was getting chilly in my room, they brought me a heater. When I could not log in to Wi-Fi they fixed my computer. When I needed boiled water 10 p.m., here you go, they brought me some. Always helpful and always smiling. The location is amazing too. I have discovered the vicinity to find out that this resort has the biggest space for recreation in Shayan. The atmosphere is very relaxing, given it is surrounded by the forest and I hear birds singing everyday. Also, they have a number of spa-related offers. The masseuses are very skilled. I felt like flying after my massage sessions. If you like wandering in the mountains like I do, you will find apple gardens to walk in. The view is really beautiful. I also took a bike to ride to the nearby villages. An experience to enjoy, if you always wanted to have a granny in a rural area but never did. I rode a bike for 16 km yesterday. Such an adventure. Overall, I am more than satisfied with my experience in Karpatia. I already recommended it to my colleagues. The only sad thing is am leaving tomorrow. Thank you all the staff for such a wonderful vacation I had!…
The sanatorium location is good, the setting is beautiful, the cottage was clean, but the service was average and the on-site restaurant did not have many dishes available. The village itself did not have much to offer with few small food shops and pop up market selling souvenirs and herbal teas
We've got room 9 at 2rd floor with a great view at mountains. It is facing south so first part of the day can have windows open letting fresh air to get in. Local cuisines are great, especially made of milk/cheese from local farm. Medical treatment is good if you know what are the options you should be able to get them all(Sunday day off). Room service is great. for the not so good things: - no mosquito nets at windows allows all insects to get in - administrator ordered to take away air conditioner remote without letting us know a day before departure when we were packing things. It cost us good hour to unpack/pack back things before checking with hotel if they took it. Without air cond the only way to cool down a room is to open a window which leads to previous issue
