It was genuinely a fantastic experience. Location, breakfast, accommodation conditions, cleanliness, and a host like I've never met before- more than welcoming, and full of valuable recommendations. Just in love with this place and it's warm, savoury atmosphere. I would say the best place to stay in Cunda!
YundAntik is a charming inn in the center of Cunda, steps away from the old town center and waterfront. We spent a Saturday night here in transit from Lesvos to Istanbul, and wish we could have stayed longer. A recommendation from a Turkish friend led us to YundAntik, and we booked a "Stone Room" (through Expedia), which had a king-sized bed and very nice bathtub/shower. There was even a fireplace, though we did not use it in this warm season. We found the room clean, quiet and well-maintained, and the air conditioning was very welcome. A Turkish breakfast buffet was included and is served in the courtyard from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. It had a very nice selection of fruits, pastries, eggs, and olives with tea and coffee. YundAntik is just steps from Cunda Taksiyarhis Müzesi (the church museum) and because of the charming narrow streets in this part of town it was easiest for our taxi driver to drop us off and pick us up by the back corner of the church. YundAntik staff are very pleasant and helpful and the owner, Canan Fergana (who speaks English), was over the top in helping us find and arrange transit options to Istanbul Airport. Cunda itself appears to be a coastal town where Turks come to relax. There was parking on the edge of town where families park to come into the town for the evening. Neither English nor German are widely spoken, so some Turkish phrases and Google Translate can be very helpful. We would come again and stay at YundaAntik.…
Excellent property, convenient and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The hotel staff was very friendly. High quality rooms and high quality service. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cunda Island.
It was our second stay at Yundantik and we really enjoyed it once again together with my wife. You always enjoy Cunda-specific mood, get comfort in the rooms (the soaps and aroma), feel positive energy of the management (thank you Yasemin Hanim), fall in love with great breakfast (local Lor cheese is exceptional with cherry jam as well as local pastries), have exceptional close location to the centre but away from all the noise at the same time. Looking forward to come again and keeping fingers crossed Canan Hanim will resume 5 o’clock tea tradition soon.
We stayed in this hotel for two nights and our experience was just amazing! It’s my recommendation to stay in this hotel when you visit Cunda. It has this huge open air area that you can enjoy mornings and nights and rooms are big enough and clean.
A lovely small boutique hotel in a quite setting in the center of Cunda Island, few minutes away by walking to the shops, restaurants, and the promenade. The rooms are very clean and equipped with a minibar, Nespresso machine, safe box, AC and even a charger for your phone; almost everything you will need during your stay. Great breakfast with many options. Special thanks to Ms. Simge and the entire staff for being very attentive. Highly recommended.
Clean rooms and common places. Friendly and helpful hosts. Pictures and reality match. Accurate breakfast. 5 star location without noise. Good recommendations according to your needs. Highly recommended. Thank you guys ✌🏻
Our experience at Yund Antik was exquisite. From the owner of the facility (Canan Hanım), to the rest of the personnel (especially Simge Hn.) everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our needs were completely addressed and we were provided with really good recommendations as to where to eat/drink etc. The rooms and overall facility are very clean and aesthetic (not to mention that it is very peaceful and quiet at Yund Antik). The breakfast service was also very pleasing, with quite a lot of delicious dishes being served. As an adult only hotel, this place differentiates itself from several other alternatives. We are looking forward to visiting this place again!
Rooms are clean simple and perfect. Breakfast is fascinating. Thanks for the hospitality. You will be simply satisfied with the property itself and the perfect athmopshere. I certainly advice the guest to eat pişi
I would like to say this is the nicest hotel that I have ever stayed at. Coming from all the USA and I always stay at 5 star hotels. The hotel is super nice with the best staff! The owner and staff are so helpful with everything! They helped me out with a tour guide and personally walked me to dinner and shopping. You are literally steps away “25 feet away from best restaurants and shop” and also the sea front is literally 30 feet away. The rooms are very large and have very cool Ac. Huge bathroom with amazing organic olive oil natural soap and shampoo I rate this 5 star luxury rooms! They have gated Parking. The best breakfast imaginable with smiling faces. In fact we stayed a week longer because we loved it here so much! They really make you feel at home. They arranged me with transportation and private tour guide. Not to add they saved me a huge amount of money with there travel advice and assistance. The staff literally called my airline and transferred my flight to closer airport to save me time and money. I could live in this hotel forever. This is the best hotel in the area and I would 100% recommend staying here!…
