This 7 rooms boutique hotel made our journey unforgettable. It has Perfect location at the heart of old Cunda. Superb service and food. Open buffet breakfast with home made delicious cakes and jelies. Rooms are very comfortable; ours even had a hammock in the room. Had private car park for 3-4 cars. Owner and the staff were all very nice people.

I can’t comment on their hotel - I haven’t been there. This is a review for their beach hide away towards the north of Cunda (in Pateriça). It’s designed for hotel guests but non-hotel guests can visit for the day if they reserve in advance. It’s not the easiest place to get to even if you have a car - the road is poor - but it is certainly worth the effort. (I understand the hotel runs a shuttle to/from the beach for their own guests.) It’s a beautiful spot where the sea is crystal clear. Swimming or relaxing on their comfortable chaise-longs is the order of the day. There is good food available at reasonable prices (for the UK); the staff are very friendly. Of the various beaches that I have been to in and around Ayvalık, this is the best.

Our first but definitely not last stay at Sobe Otel was wonderful. Our room was amazing, comfy and clean, the location is perfect. As a vegan and vegetarian couple, we had the most amazing breakfast with Egean ingredients, daily freshly baked pastries from Filiz Hanım’s talented and tasty hands. The manager Sevgi Hanım is so kind and strong in communication. Sobe Otel will be one of the reasons for us to visit Cunda, again.

Sobe is a small boutique hotel located very close to the heart of Cunda, but on a calm street. The building is a renovated old stone house. Rooms are good size and comfortable, there is a nice patio where the breakfast is served. The hotel staff is what makes the difference. They hosted us as if we were their personal visitors rather than hotel guests. The chef did everything possible to accommodate my wife's dietary requirements for breakfast. Highly recommended.

We chose this hotel to celebrate our 40 th anniversary with our close friends and what an excellent choice we made. Amazing staff, excellent location. Breakfast with local ingredients, daily freshly baked pastries, very tasty. The manager Sevgi hanım is very friendly, very efficient, makes sure your every ( reasonable) request is granted. We loved this place and will be back soon!

Dear hotel staff, This is just to say thank you to you and to everybody at the Sobe Hotel on behalf of our couple ( my wife and i). Absolutely everything went like a charm. We enjoyed our stay and did everything we set out to do. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We had so much of relaxing, interior, beach, breakfast was was wonderful Special thanks to those in reception who were able to solve all our requests, book the dinner restaurants, helped out with the translation. We look forward very much to coming back next year around about the same dates. Best regard

We stayed at room #6. There exist a fireplace in the room. The fireplace usage was free of charge which is very good. Since it is not the season and its not weekend, we were the only guests. This situation was not a disadvantage for us. All things served personally with the same quality and attention. All staff were working very hard trying to make us happy. The place is very central next to lots of very good restaurants

A beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff. Really felt like it was like having a home away from home. The food was exceptional as was the presentation. The owner was very helpful with places to visit while we were there and everything was in walking distance. Wonderful area to explore and very relaxing.

This little hotel is a real gem! I was there last week for 4 nights and was totally enchanted by the beauty of the place, the small details in the room, the garden where a delicious breakfast is served, the friendly staff and the charming owner, all always ready to please and serve you. The location of the hotel is also quite exceptional as right in the middle of Cunda, which for me is the nicest part of Ayvalik, yet a little bit in retreat from the many restaurants and bars of the main streets. Hidden in a little alley where there are some beautiful old Greek houses, the hotel is walking distance to the sea-shore and to shops and restaurants. Sobe has also its own private beach where small children are wisely not allowed, whch can be reached by taxi or bus. I do not know at this point if they have a shuttle service, as May is not full season and the beach was not yet opened.…

This is s pretty little hotel run by very nice peoplewho go žout of their way for you. Rooms are spacious ss and nicly decorated. Breakfasd is perfect.
