This expansive property is only about one click to the entrance to the world famous ruins at Chichen Itza* and is an incredible bargain. In fact, they have their own ruin right there on the property! We really enjoyed our stay here, and believe you will too as long as you're looking for a simple, clean, no-frills place to stay,...

Not Fancy, but clean and friendly staff. Owner is an American. Great place to relax by the pool and read a book or just enjoy the peacefulness. Lots of cats, so if you are allergic it would not be a great place for you. Piste is a tired old town, but this place lets you have time to relax, or...

The closest hotel from the ruin. From the outside it looks awful but the inside the hotel is pretty good. Nice large room, nice garden area with swimming pool (though full of fallen leaves you don't want to swim), it was good to sit around and relax. Room is air conditioned. Wifi only works around the reception and above but...

We stayed in Piramide Inn for a few nights whilst visiting the local ruins. Parts of the hotel have fallen into disrepair (the restaurant is closed and the pool area and lobby are a bit run down) but our room was great. We had a private double room which was huge with two double beds, an ensuite bathroom with hot...

Such a friendly place for traveler with dogs. Lovely big enclosed garden, lovely pool. The hotel is not your brand new hotel but it is clean, the rooms are big, the bed is comfortable, the AC is working and it is walking distance from restaurants. So for 500 pesos, you cannot do better. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend...

Clean, large rooms with air conditioning and fan; close to Chichen Itza (1,5 - 2 km); lots of parking just in front of the hotel. No warm water, poor matresses, VERY loud AC, no safe. Don't expect too much service...

We stayed here two nights while we were visiting Chichen Itza as it is only a 15 minute walk away. It may be a bit old fashioned but it's a faded gem, the staff were helpful and the cats and dogs were friendly. The rooms were spacious and the pool area was nice. Perfect place to relax after a hectic...

We booked this hotel exclusively to get tickets for Chichen-Itza at night, even though it wasn't our first choice. We wrote them on purpose asking for these tickets, and we were told that we just needed to check in and get them. Well, we got there and were told that they didn't have them any more, which was really annoying...

This hotel is dated and has cats and dogs in the hotel grounds. The rooms are spacious and have hot water and enough pressure for a decent shower. The pool is amazing and great for a swim after a hot day in the sun. Only 15 mins walk to chichen itza or get a cheap taxi.

Apparently you want to go to chitchen Itza...if you have seen e.g. Palenque ruins don't go! This looks more like a big American touristic attraction. But still if you are going, stay in the Piramide inn! If you have read the other reviews, yes it is true. It is a enormous, bit dated, empty hotel with at least 6 cats...

“Campers can pitch their tent in the garden near the swimming pool or under two palapas, but better leave the palapas for the people with hammocks. During my stay, we were only 4 to 5 tourists at a time.”
