Peace and Calm is how I describe every minute of stay here. This is respite from the madhouse of city that Goa had become.
Reasonably priced for longer status, the hotel is plonked in the midst of lush paddy fields and coconut groves with a hill flanking one side and the sea about 500m dn a winding green path.

Flexibility to order via swiggy.
Discovered an amazing Beachside restaurant called Joets just a couple of kms up the road near bogmalo beach. Live music and brilliant food.
My favourite time of the year is the monsoon and nothing better than in Goa in a large coconut grove facing room with balcony.

Perfect getaway - the resort is surrounded by greenery, walking distance from Hollant beach. The rooms are large and the property also has a swimming pool if you are not in the mood to get into sandy water. The place is a few minutes drive from the airport.

We have been in this hotel during Dec 2023 for 72hours long, I need to tell everyone and make them aware that room no 406 is haunted with ghost. We had real ghost sightings inside the room hiding behind the curtains. The ghost would turn the lights on & off, even the tap use to get moved from hot to cold by itself. Very uneasy to sleep as there would be sounds or feeling that someone is inside the room, the ghost even followed us till swimming pool where my wife sighted the ghost 4-5 times sitting on the chair, it was really scarry. The ghost even tried posses me as my wife said I was acting weird and at night I went out of hotel talking to myself and even I sat on a bike and drove and met an accident, I don't remember how I reached the accident spot but luckily I was not harmed and I came back to room by myself. Even my body was acting weird where I could feel someone was holding me and pricking me. Even sitting in the gallery after evening gave chills as the sounds would come from inside the room. Please don't take room 406.

We went to Goa some time back and we stayed at the Western Devasthali
Resort which we booked through Antilog Vacations and we get a good deal. It seemed like a good hotel from the outset. It is
not very big and has a small pool located in the central area. We had booked
an executive suite but the receptionist spent a lot of time with all the
applications and all. Consequently we started on the wrong foot with the
hostel authorities.
The room was decent though – spacious around 500 square feet in
area. The view from the room was also nice. There was an adjoining balcony
as well but the most peculiar thing was despite a large balcony being present,
it was not equipped with chairs. The room too had sofas and no transferable
chairs. Hence we could not spend time sitting in the balcony and this is
something which we missed, considering we really liked the view.
There is no gym in the hotel. Although a spa is present but if we take
our suggestion we would not recommend that as it is really not worth trying.
There are not many choices with the massage therapies and they seriously
need some more therapists as we were made to wait for a long time.
The food is not very special and can best classified as a 2 star hotel’s
food. We expected more choices in the breakfast buffet but it was very limited
and even the simple coffee was not very good. We found some more
restaurants in the vicinity and these can be tried out for better options.
The staffs though are very friendly and helpful and the housekeeping
also chipped in with their aid. Thus the Western Devasthali is a hotel which is
not very reasonable given the tariff but something worth checking if you are in
Goa for a few days and don’t have too much time to spend inside the hotel.

A very warm welcome by the staff. urban simplistic rooms, a very clear swimming pool and the perfect place for friends to hang out and chill out

Great food and do try the fish in the in room dining menu, really tasty. The concierge helps you with all local activities and prices are very reasonable. Definitely stay here for a couple of days to enjoy the south Goa experience.

5 mins from the airport and 5 mins from the beach.

This place is inhabitable for humans. We trusted the ratings and reviews and booked this “resort” as it was nearby the Airport, and it was a big mistake. I have no idea how this place has good ratings, it is absolutely pathetic.

The exterior itself is so dingy you won’t even feel like checking the rooms, but we checked anyway. First we checked the rooms we booked, but they were stinking. The walls were damp, the linen and bedding was not dry either.

We did not want to stay in those rooms so we asked for other rooms, even higher category ones but they were even worse.

Their restaurant was not functional and there were hardly 2-3 staff members on the whole property.

It was so bad that we decided to stay the whole night at the airport itself instead of this “resort”. Not the airport lounge, the public chairs at the Airport.

Stay at any 1 star hotel, but don’t go near this one.

We went for a vacation last year with our kid to Goa. I must say it was such a comfortable stay there in Devasthali that it just felt like home. Greenery in that place is outstanding and very relaxing if you want to stay away from the hustle bustle of the town. So from my side it’s a must visit resort. 5stars from my side.

Went for a family vacation of 15 and it was one great vacation! The staff was courteous to cater to almost all our needs and took great care of us! The nature around is truly a treat to the eye! Walking distance from one of the secret beaches of Goa. It's a great pick for a quick get together. There are multiple food options near the close by Bogmalo Beach
Thank you Team Devasthali!
