Profumi is truly a gem of bed and breakfasts. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night after a day of winetasting and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised by the scenic location and inimitable hospitality. Upon arriving we were greeted by the guesthouse's lovely host Tiziana who made us coffee and served us delicious homemade cake. Our room,...

The location is perfect, the views from the room was nice and overlooking the vineyards. And Tiziana and her husband are great hosts. We went to look for truffles with them and found a nice one, which we then enjoyed over dinner at Non Solo Crudo, a great restaurant nearby. If I ever go back to the Piemonte I will...

We have used Profumi as our base in Piemonte for a couple of years now and we love it there. The rooms are so comfortable, clean and neat. The breakfast is a meal in itself, and the welcome from Tiziana and all her family is the warmest we have ever received. We feel like we are coming home whenever we...

We were delighted by the tranquil location in the middle of attractive vineyards, the stylish interior where everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well thought-out, our two rooms with views and balconies, and especially the warmth and generosity of Tiziana and GianCarlo and their memorable and superb breakfasts. We ate fresh tomatoes from the garden, homemade sweet and savoury food...

One of our wine producers booked Profumi for us, and we are indebted to them forever. I would return tomorrow if I could. The accomodations are modern and beautiful, with views of the surrounding vineyards and neighboring towns. Beyond the beauty of this region, the real gems are Tiziana and her family. They are wonderful hosts, and the breakfast is...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The farmhouse "Profumi" is situated on the high Monferrato hills at about twenty km from Asti and Alba, near the village of Vinchio (birthplace of the writer Davide Laiolo, and where you can visit the baroque church). It is an area of famous wines, asparagus, and of the well-know white truffle of Alba. In The Farmhouse"Profumi" You will find peacefulness and kindness, ideal to spend a few serene days. It is also near the spa towns of Agliano Terme and Acqui Terme. This green and unspoil word gives you the possibility to go for a long walks as well as excursions. It is a jump in the quietness of the countryside very distant from cement and the frenzy of city life. In the good seasons our guests will smell the scent of the many varieties of flowers such as roses, brooms, levanders, oleanders, lime trees and many others.Pizza and grilled meat can be cooked in the oven or on barbecues that are situated in the courtyard where there is a pic-nic area.During the Autumn the typical scent is that of the "grey diamond" the precious truffle of Alba. The characteristic of our farmholiday is to offer our guests the possibility to explore the mysterious and seducing habitat of the white truffle to get to know the history and the treasures of this land, the close relationship between the "trifolau" (the truffle searcher) and his faithful and essential partner: the dog. We offer guided visits into our private areas with the dog "Linda". Living close to nature our guests will certainly eperience new adventures both during the day and the night as well! You will need comfortable clothes, long trousers and wide open eyes! “There are only 3 rooms - two upstairs and one downstairs. We had the downstairs room which is very convenient if you want to spend the evening at home as you can keep your door open and sit in the kitchen area and feel as though you are in your own home and you still have a balcony with a view.”
