Hi there, Since it is about one year ago since we've been here, we realize more and more how beautiful it all was. When we went to this place we didn't know what hit us! Such a great family with such a hospitality. They take very good care of you and have the most beautiful backyard we have ever seen!...

i went to Playa Bluff Lodge intending to spend 2 or 3 days there and spent 10. The welcoming owners and amazing surrounding environment puts this holiday destination in a league of its own. There is constant entertainment from the wildlife that surrounds you but at the same time a perfect sense of seclusion that makes you think you could...

Reiner and Helene welcomed us to their beautiful home as if we were family. They are so proud of their chosen lifestyle and are both involved in the effort required to maintain such natural surroundings. Wildlife is abundant - monkeys, sloths, parrots, birds, frogs. The beach was too rough for snorkelling - just a wind and timing thing. Such an...

If you 're into a little adventure, want to hang out with wildlife, be alone on the best wilderness beach ever and enjoy some true hospitality, this is your spot on Bocas. Me, my gf and our 2-year old boy spend 4+4 nights here and found it the highlight of our backpack panama/costa rica trip. Run by a fun and...

You will find that the owners know very much about animal and plantlife. You can rest in their beautiful garden and enjoy flowers and animals living there. The beach on their doorstep is pristine, no...

Highly recommendable for those who want to be away from everything and just want to enjoy the beach and the jungle. Truly a piece of paradise (beautiful beach, beautiful garden), very nice owners, family friendly, … we would want to go back tomorrow (or even today). Early January 2011, we had an excellent 6 night stay at Playa Bluff Lodge,...

This place really exceeded our already high expectations (after reading the excellent reviews and the beautiful pictures on the website...).We were stunned bij the beauty of the location, the tropical garden, the gorgeous beach, the comfortable large rooms. We spent 4 days here and had a lovely time snorkeling, swimming, taking a boat trip and just relaxing at the beach!...

Playa Bluff Lodge is a terrific place. The garden alone is worth the stay. Reiner and Helene do such a wonderful job of making the space relaxing and enjoyable, and the wildlife just in the backyard can keep you entertained for hours. This place truly lives up to the hype.

First of all I would like to thank Helene and Reinier for making my stay in their lodge such an incredible experience. They took care of everything I needed or wished for, they even were on the phone for about an hour when my flight got canceled to get everything back on track. What more could you ask for? Breakfast...

“The wifi was not In-Room. You had to be sitting in the restaurant for it to work but it was free. At night time, there didn't seem to be any managers etc on site so I occasionally worried that if something were to arise, I'm not sure we would have had any help...”

“The south room faces trees and a vine-covered fence, instead of the garden or the ocean, but still very nice. Don't eat in your room and/or leave crumbs. Little ants find crumbs quickly and they can bite.”
