We stayed at Les Terraces du Lac for one night as a member of a group. The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful and our room was comfortable, very clean and quiet. We chose a room at the back of the hotel but it is still possible to enjoy the lake view from a communal terrace at first floor...

Whole hotel needs to open the doors and windows for some fresh air through. Unfortunately when I tried this in our room, I had smoke from the staff below wafting through the window. Thought it was cheeky to take our 5euro extra for a lake view room when only 3 of the 13 or so view rooms seemed occupied. I...

Stayed here when walking the Stevenson trail. Nice view of the lake but not worth walking the extra distance from the centre of town. Food and service were very average and not worth what was paid. The room was ok but there was a musty stale feel to it. Breakfast starts at 8 which is too late if you are...

The weather was settled but not too hot, so although the terrace was open for...

Stayed only one night but made very welcome. Receptionist spoke good English. Terraces provide hedged pitches all with great views. Facilities spacious and clean. Great walks from site around smaller lake.

We stayed here on a half board basis , as part of a group of 11 walking Stevenson's trail. This is a standard hotel, and we got the impression really catered for families. The rooms were clean , bathrooms basic. Food average. However it's location on the edge of the lake was fabulous, and the views wonderful. The service was...
