The hotel is on the edge of town but is just 2 minutes from great restaurants. I know it is a budget hotel but the shower had pathetic water flow and most days didn’t heat the water or stopped 1/2 way through showers. Plus had to ask most days for shampoo and body wash sachets the latter ran out on day 3 so had to use a soap bar for body. However the staff are really friendly and willing to help you with advice about your holiday.

We stayed here twice already, the room is clean and neat. And also a budget friendly hotel. We also recommended this to our friends and their Barkada Room is very spacious. Staff is very friendly and approachable. You can also rent a motorcycle here. We highly recommend this hotel, Adelaida Pensionne Hotel. We’ll stay here again soon.

Located between the old Santa Fe and Bantayan Town main road now, used by locals as a short cut from the Ferry, and meeting the only Gas station in SF,just as you leave SF. But from the Front entrance, which runs to the new SF/BT road, you can see the sea .Rooms range from a small single/ double room.to larger doubles.Your host Jimmy and Wendy Bulotano, are top class. And will be available for your everyday needs. All rooms come with A/C Flat screen TV,and Wi-Fi.The located is superb because everything is within 20 minutes or you can hire a Motor Bike for cheap rates

Aircon is broken, the staffs were rude. Same experience with the other guest. They will not treat you as a guest after you have checked out. The staff was trying to scam us by giving us a higher rate than what we discussed thru online. STAFF WERE SCAMMERS.

I have nothing but good words for Adelaida. We really felt at home because the owners and staff were very nice. They gave us practical tips on where to go and you can even cook your meals at their communal kitchen, free of charge. We payed Php 1500 good for 4 pax and the location is central, walking distance from the beach and most restaurants. The hotel is quite new and the rooms are well kept and spacious. The AC is powerful and the rooms come with flatscreen cable TV. It doesn't come with a hot shower though! Water is sparse in Bantayan and this we understand.
We also rented our bikes (Php100) and motorbikes (Php 300) with them. Do watch out for the Coconut vendor that drops by Adelaida daily! Fresh coconut juice for only 30 pesos!
Oh, did I mention that water, coffee and tea are free as well? It can't get any better thatn that!

Nice place to stay! Everything was affordable!..Their room was clean and cozy. The staffs were friendly and so as the owners. They(couple owner) always made it sure that everything was okay, chat with us during breakfast and gave us tips that helped us a lot during our tour in the island. They were very approachable and accomodating. They have bicycles for rent.
We will surely come back in the island and will choose to stay in the same place. ☺

Last month, my family had a short weekend vacation in Bantayan island. We stayed in this pensione hotel with no high expectation. This place actually amazed us. The room we got is cheap and affordable which is good for 10pax (barkada room), there were 5 queen size beds and we have our own private toilet with shower room, kitchen, and tv. The room is air-conditioned and it worked really good. The room we got includes free plated breakfast and it was good enough for the total package price we paid. This is also not that far from the beach and restaurants. The staffs were very friendly and helpful especially with island hopping and giving directions.
I totally recommend this place for those who will go to Bantayan in big groups of family and friends and does not expect a beach front accommodation. You can rent a motorbike or bicycle to go around the island. The wifi in the room is not that good but it doesn't matter especially if you are on holiday with your family and not with your phone ;)

We celebrated my mom's birthday in Bantayan Island and we stayed in this pensionne hotel for 2 days. The place is clean and accessible to the beach. We were allowed to cook with no additional charge. The staff and even the owners are always ready to attend to our needs. They are very accommodating. I highly recommend Adelaida Pensionne Hotel.

Pros: very nice and very helpful owners - generally caring people, free hot water and cups in the lobby to make coffee/tea, tidy rooms, comfy beds. Cons: in the very corner of the town, so away from everything, the view from the room is to the trashy courtyards around, loud karaoke until middle of the night and roosters after that - bring air plugs if you want to catch any sleep. Double check your room has hot shower - although our Agoda reservation said we had one, turns out the standard rooms come only with cold showers. Spiders, flies and ants are also abundant, the town gets constant brown outs and the streets are pitch black after dark (flashlight is a must), but it's Philippines.

Such as any small islands in Cebu, Bantayan has dozen of accommodations according to your budget. To get to this island is time consuming, so be prepared. It takes a half day trip to reach Bantayan.
First 3 hour by bus from Cebu City and plus 1 hour by ferry from Hagnaya to Santa Fe. Santa Fe is the gateway to the island where ferry arrived and departed
During my research for accommodation in the island I get so many websites, but I only used two particularly and that is (booking and agoda.com)
It took me awhile to decide which one I have to choose, so many places to stay, (unbelievable)
At the end I have to hold this Adelaida Pensionne Hotel at booking.com free cancelation anytime just want to hold a room for 4 person, my daughter and her best friend was travelling with us
The owner has facebook where you can chat with them through messenger, I started chatting with the owner and inform the room rate. I surprised that the rate is only half of the price from (booking and agoda.com)
A month before our trip I cancel the room that I booked from (booking.com) and reserved the room directly to the owner
Adelaida Pensionne Hotel is less than 10 min by tricycle from ferry terminal. The location is not very center but restaurants/ bars are walking distance. Is a big house, the lady owner is very friendly and welcoming I was overwhelmed by her. We arrived at noon our room wasn't ready yet, we left our lúggage and go on for a walk.
Afterwards we return to the house and we can get into our room. Our room was on the third floor. We have no big luggage just small backpack, so going up through stairs wasn't bad.
The entrance is very roomy where a coach and big tv and available for guest. No tv in room, to watched and for free WIFI you must be at the hotel lobby
Is a very huge family room with two king size beds. We have a huge balcony as well. Spacious bathroom with hot water.
I payed 1400 peso a night for the family room, I got this price by contacting the owner itself. They can be found by booking.com and agoda.com but they're price is double
The owner can also arranged a motorbike and bicycle rental for 300 peso a day. Breakfast is available for 100 peso but we didn't have breakfast with them. There are restaurants nearby if you'd like your breaky outside
Visiting here before new year is a bit busy they are fully booked. Reservation is highly recommended if visiting Bantayan on holiday season. The house has 24 hour security guard which was not necessary in the island, the owner want to be sure that their guest feel very safe.
We're very satisfied during our stay with them, the friendly staffs are amazing and very helpful!. If you need anything they're always there for you. I would stay with them again when I come back in the island someday
