We booked a 7 night stay and have to say best holiday we have ever had so much for the kids to do they enjoyed the farm tour so much had to do it twice, same with the pizza night. Kate and James are so welcoming and lovely. My kids loved helping James fed the animals in the morning so... More

Another great featherdown farms family holiday. We have been to a few and this is one of the best. Wonderful location in the Mendip Hills. Loads of great walks and things to do. James and kate have gone the extra mile with lots of things to make your holiday great. The barn with stuff to entertain the kids. A fridge... More

We visited Warren Farm for a long weekend before going to Haven at Burnham on Sea and really enjoyed it. My family is myself (38), my wife Clare (34) and our kids Mara (8) and May (3). We arrived a bit late due to traffic in Bristol but when we got there were met by James who was incredibly friendly... More

Booked a long weekend with two kids (5 and 4) and everyone loved it. On arriving they made friends with kids of a similar age who they played with each day (giving us time to open a magazine with a cup of tea!). Having done three feather down farms before this is way ahead. On top of all the usual... More

We booked a short break at the beginning of September. Upon our arrival we were met by the owners Kate and James who were very friendly and approachable. We were given a tour of the facilities before showing us to our accommodation. A very nice clean and welcoming tent it was. We were shown what to do to survive! The... More

We stayed here for long weekend in mid Sept with our 3yr old son. The whole weekend was perfect, we really didn't want to leave Tents are bigger with more home comforts than we were expecting, with very cozy log burning stove! Paddock where the tents are well spaced out was safe for kids to run around; our son made... More

Such a brilliant short break with the children. We stayed in one of the Log Cabins and it was fantastic. Nice and warm and cosy and everything you need is there for you. Fantastic honesty shop, shower block and grounds. The children loved being with the chickens, goats, sheep and pigs collecting the eggs in the morning and then being... More

Had a 4 day break and really enjoyed it (despite the Bank Holiday weather !). Have been to a couple of other Featherdown farms before, and although they're basically the same (tents, set-up, etc), this one is the best.... with enhancements such as underfloor heating in the very well kept shower block, the children's play area. We went with another... More

Our holiday was everything we hoped it would be, and more. The tent was comfortable, clean, cosy, spacious and well equipped. The location was stunning and the area the tents are situated in, is so secure that for the first time ever, I was happy to say 'yes you can go out to play, just come back when you're ready',... This is a great place to get away from the 9 to 5. Everything laid on by friendly hosts James and Kate. First experience of camping for our young kids and they loved it, in fact they were teary eyed when we had to go. We tried the newly erected cabins, very Little House On The Prairie. They think of...
