Top place with best service in tasmania. The owner is a great cook and is just lovely. It really topped off my Tasmania trip making it awesome and relaxing. Also wallabies bounce around at night it's great!!!!

First off the mustard the owner makes is absolutely sublime! It's an old family recipe from Finland. I've only eaten here once despite being a local. I was disappointed with what I ordered because I don't like chicken in my salad to be cold and dry (I can't swallow it) and there wasn't much substance to the salad. I was...

Our waitress and all of the staff were very nice and helpful, however most of our dishes (and even my napkin) had bits of old food on them when we got them. I had their veggie burger (I'm a vegetarian) and it was incredible! I would go again for their food and nice service definitely, but I wouldn't recommend it...

Deanna T, Fishlips cafe and accommodation is only open summer seasons from November to April. The doors have been closed since end of April. Opening again in November as we done for over ten years. I do not know where you have stayed and eaten, I hope you can check and delete this comment. Regards Owner

You wouldn't know it from the street, but out the back is an awesome duck pond with cottages to stay in surrounding the pond. A further view goes out to the bay to give a double water view. The place used to be a marine park, but now is just accommodation. We stayed in Morsons hut with a full display...

On our way back to Hobart after a visit to Port Arthur. Hadn't eaten at Port Arthur and feeling peckish, we spied this gorgeous cafe and pulled over. What a find! Delicious nourishing healthy food. Amazing view. Welcoming and friendly! Perfect!

This was the only accommodation we could find in the area on the busiest weekend of the year so we were expecting the worst but we were blown away by the place. There are two self-contained cottages by a lovely artificial lake just metres from Norfolk Bay. The one we were in had two rooms, both with double beds. It...

We the Finnish pancakes with ice cream and maple syrup today - the balcony has a real feel of one in Italy or Greece (weather dependent of course!) and the pancakes were delicious. Owner very pleasant and obliging. A great place to relax.

These small but charming cottages are built around a trout pond in a quiet location near Port Arthur. It is quite an unusual location and made a change from the usual cottages/ B+Bs. The owner was very friendly and made an extremely tasty breakfast in the cafe. You do have to pay for this and there are no cooking facilities...
