A true family ski holiday is one where you have comforting food, a relaxing place to wind down after a big day on the snow. The chalet offers every bit of this. Kids are safe when they step outside the hotel and can easily get themselves onto the slope without parents having to carry skis for them. The chalet has... More

Negatives - We preferred Smiggins compared with the Chalet. The Chalet is very aged and exceptionally tired looking. Staffing is adequate despite having to ask seven times for a light bulb to be changed. What we found disappointing when we arrived was no one actually gave us a tour or showed us a map of the complex, we were just... More

We traveled from Sydney City to Charlotte's Pass Pick Up Point. We then took the over snow to the chalet (a 45 minutes trip). Magnificent place. KCH was an amazing place to stay. You just have to step out of the hotel and you are ready to have fun in the snow! Breakfast and dinner were part of the package.... More

Building reminds of my old boarding school.Dark, cold, sombre, claustrophobic,I swear I could smell boiled cabbage...OK,I know it's historic, its not a hotel of this century or even modern times so I should not compare apples with oranges. And I do not;but what about the peeling paint, rotting window sills and the door within my room which no longer fits its frame and will not get... What good fortune to be at Charlotte's Pass for remarkable early season snow. KCH have been amazing - so hospitable. Great staff, accessible managers, everyone wants to ensure you're happy. The restaurant - in such an out of the way place - great food and good value wine. For on snow accommodation it's brilliant. We're really impressed.

We stayed on opening weekend 2016, there was lots of snow and the groomers did an awesome job of providing some great runs despite not all the lifts being open. All the staff, from the liftys, oversnow trans, porters, shops, dining room, bars and reception are incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we... We go here every year early September and its great. You don't really spend much time in the hotel and a good thing is it is ski-in-ski-out. They have kids club where they do dinner, ski hire and skiing lessons. A great family holiday if you are looking for some adventure.

Only meters from the main ski lift the chalet is like stepping into a bygone era. Classic bars, friendly staff, luxurious couches to sit and relax after a day on the slopes. Kid friendly and well priced (by snow standards). The amazing food in the restaurant was the biggest surprise. We loved it and will be back.

The Kosciuszko Chalet could be great, it has an amazing location and terrific heritage feel. Only two things let it down. The first is how run down it is, it is very worn and could do with some serious maintenance. Just replace some of the old boards and give a coat of paint. The second issue is the price of... More

I have stayed at plenty of ski resort accommodation options but the Kosiuszko Chalet Hotel is right up there for comfort, convenience, service and more. The heritage hotel has undergone some renovation in past years but still retains that old world charm. Being in the centre of the snowbound resort makes it perfect for anyone who wants to mix on...
