After a day skiing at Smiggins with the kids, the lodge was perfect to come back to each day. It was wonderful to stay somewhere where our kids were fully catered for - separate kids dinner time where we could sit with them if we wanted, activities /movie after dinner and peace for adult dinners. There is a room with...

We have stayed twice at the Altitude Lodge in Smiggins - fantastic food, fantastic staff - easily a great home away from home - the lodge seems to attract a great group of people and the kids always seem to have a great time together. Rooms are great, bathrooms modern - lounge areas very comfortable - love the conversation pit!...

We just spent a long weekend with 17 of us at Altitude. We had not been before and a friend booked us, and we loved it! Really great with the kids and I had dietary requirements which were no issues at all. Happy hour by the log fire was a highlight!! Would recommend strongly, and cant wait to come back...

Being my first time to the snow I wasn't really sure what to expect. The Altitude at Smiggins was a great way to be introduced to such a beautiful part of Australia. Firstly the rooms are simple. I arrived with my partner and two kids. We had a double bed with bunk beds up in the loft. You wouldn't classify...

I've been to the altitude twice now and I don't plan on staying elsewhere any time soon! The customer service here is second to none. They really want you to feel at home - But I've never cooked myself a 4 course meal - So, they've really outdone themselves. With a gourmet chef, amazing serving and bar staff, and very...

We're back! Eight years in a row! Staying at Altitude- The Lodge Smiggins has become an automatic entry in our calendar. All four children have experienced the right of passage from the kids dining table to the adults dining table once they reached 15. Over the years we've been joined by both small and large groups of family and friends,...

Our first trip to the snow and we were very well looked after while staying at the lodge. Thank you to Lisa and all the staff for the great atmosphere, dealing with the kids at night and serving up 5 star dinners every night of the stay (amazing). Friendly meal time, quiet bar and comfy lounge atmosphere was so rewarding...

Thanks for your review and feedback about the older rooms. We're working hard to get all the rooms "up to scratch" and hope to be working on those rooms in the next 12 months or so. We look forward to welcoming you back again in years to come! Regards, Phil Jacombs

the lodge is an Australian version of chalet accommodation, they pick you up from the skitube settle you in and feed you all week, common areas are all very relaxed and friendly and dinner is fantastic - 4 courses and children entertained separately. brillant relaxed atmosphere and doesn't feel like a corporate hotel which is nice
