4D3N stay at this well-run hostel on the edge of Old Town. Our kids loved the upstairs cubbyhole beds in our poolside room, as well as being able to swim right out of the door! Staff faultlessly friendly and helpful. Everything very clean. We visited in rainy season so things were quite quiet, but suited us perfectly for a family stay.

We were looking to save a bit of money so my friends and I went in on a 4 person room. We found it on AirBNB which made the booking super easy. The location was AWESOME, the rooms/beds were comfy, the people working at the hostel were super kind and helpful. I for sure would stay there again!

We were searching for a place to stay in Phuket Town and we came across this hostel that has a very high rating. Now we totally understand why they can maintain this high score. The staff was very helpful, kind, and friendly. The room is bigger than we thought (we stayed in a Hammock room type). Even the bathroom was not that small. The bed and pillows were surprisingly soft and super comfortable. Also, extra score for blackout curtains, made us slept so deep at night. We didn't experience any noise issues either. Great location - only a few mins walk to everything in town. The supermarket is right across from the hostel. There is plenty of parking space sharing with the community mall. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and we think it is worth every single penny. Will definitely come back again!

Stunning place, very comfortable and incredibly clean. Great location. Staff was lovely and helpful. Big plus for private bathroom, kitchen and beer fridge. Also cosy garden with this small pool which was very nice place to chill.

It’s a fine hostel. Pro’s: good location, modern light building, very friendly staff. Cons: not too clean, breakfast means white bread with old butter and jam, the pool is just 20 inch deep, so not really a pool and the staff is not too knowledgeable. Overall did have a nice stay though.

Book A Bed Poshtel was a great hostel, in a great location! The staff were very friendly upon arrival, and anytime I needed anything! I was able to book a shuttle to the pier and ferry ticket all in one from the front desk at a great rate, making it super easy and painless for me! The room was exactly as the pictures showed it, the steps up to the tops bunks was a nice change from the usual awkward ladder! The lockers are pretty big, and they are all supplied with their own key! The pool is not super deep, but still works great to cool down after a long hot day! There is also a nice deck around the one end of the pool making it the perfect place to read and relax. The hostel is right across from a little mall, and beside a spa and restaurant. It is only a 5 min walk max to the main shopping streets in Phuket Town! The Sunday Night Market is well worth the 5 min walk as well if you happen to be there on a Sunday! Overall, it’s a nice, new and clean hostel with great staff! The pool is another great perk! You can’t go wrong staying here!

We stayed in the 4 bed dorm for 3 nights and were throughly impressed. Each dorm had it's own bathroom and each bed came with a shelf, light and wall socket. Book a Bed had a modernist style and each bed was very private. It was very clean and even had a small pool. The pool was not deep so you couldnt swim but it was good to cool off. Staff were excellent and super helpful. Upon our arrival one of the staff members spent 10 minutes showing us a map and guiding us on the best food places and things to do around Phuket town and this helped us alot as we were unsure what to do in the town. The only downside I can think of - and this is no fault of the hostel - is that there isnt too much to do in Phuket town itself. They do lots of day trips out to the islands and tours. However in the town itself all it has to offer is food. In saying that we chose not to do any tours as we had separate plans to go to the islands and stay there rather than do day trips. If you keen for day trips then this hostel is for you!

This was our first time in hostel and we were pleasantly surprised. The location was great! Right across from a mall with a number of restaurants and a nice food court. The poshtel itself was very stylish, clean and spacious. We stayed in the executive suite which was a large room on the third floor and an amazing tub. The staff was very helpful, they even carried my suitcase to the room since there was no elevator, and not pushy at all about selling excursions. The only downside for us was the airco in the room that didn’t work properly causing the room to be too hot to confortably relax in.

Book a bed hostel is a fantastic hostel find. It is located in Phuket Town. The location is ok, there is a a mini shopping mall opposite with Mc Donald’s, Pancake Corner, a Beer Factory (almost like a British pub or as close to) other Thai and Japanese restaurants. Also a supermarket, clothing stalls and other bits and bobs. Around Phuket Town, there are little boutique style shops and some Thai cafes and restaurants. There is also a Sunday night market close by. It is a 45 minute ride from the hostel to Patong - this is where it all kicks off, if you are looking for party, drink, food, cabaret style adult shows, street food, market stalls, tattoo shops, etc! It’s all happening there. A taxi cost 500 THB (approx £12.50 one way) it’s not too bad but I would recommend if you want to party for several nights I suggest staying closer or even in Patong as this hostel is slightly too far to keep going back and for. However as we were only staying 2 nights in Phuket, this did not bother us as our stay at Book a Bed Poshtel was fantastic. The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidied by cleaners every morning. The room is spacious as they have created a bunk bed style room. 1 bed on the bottom and then created another floor on top with 3 beds. All separated with walls and curtains to close for your privacy. An individual light, plug sockets by each bed and great WiFi. Our bedroom had a bathroom with a toilet and a fully functional shower, hot and cold water. The room also walked out on to the pool which was quite quirky for a hostel. Breakfast provided was basic, tea and coffee (but no milk - we never asked for Milk, but I’m sure they would provide if asked) orange juice and bread with toasters available with 2 types of jams and butter. That is all you need to be fed and watered. However I do recommend trying pancake corner just opposite if you want something a little more. Perhaps I would recommend the hostel to provide some pastries, cheese, hams, fruits and yoghurts if they wanted to improve breakfast, but that would come at a slightly more cost to the customer for a nights stay. But a thought to consider. Finally I must mention the fantastic, fun service from the staff, Nan, Ploy and Ina. They were ever so lovely to us, so helpful to book our trips to Phi Phi, Koh Tao etc. They also had a great sense of humour. The price they booked for us was the best around for the trips and gave us some discount. Overall the staff here were fantastic and I would highly recommend staying here, just consider how close you want to be to party, but it’s a fantastic stay for a couple of nights.
