The hotel is located in Coconut Island, which is a 10-minute boat ride from Phuket. I went with my family and some family friends so we got to stay in the 4-bedroom Beach Front Villa. It was spacious and makes me wish I could live their forever! Many things are scented with lemon-grass: the toiletries, even bath salts, which was very nice and soothing. Even when we were checking in, we were greeted with welcome drinks and lemon-grass scented cold towels. The area was beautiful with trees and flower gardens. It's a big piece of land so the hotel has buggy cars to take you to your room. But it's nice to have a nice walk around if you have time. The facility was convenient and comfortable. Too bad we only planned to stay for 2 nights so we didn't get to do much at the hotel as we wanted. We did spend the rest of our afternoon of our first day swimming and hanging out by the private pool, which overlooks the beautiful beach. The hotel has 2 other public pools with water slides that look fun, I would have tried them if we had more time. Our first night falls on the Thai Loy Krathong Festival, so we had the Thai food buffet dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious! We got to talk with the chef who was hanging out there for a bit and he recommended us some highlights there. After a while the staff invited everyone to the beach and provided each of us with Krathong. Most guests were foreigners (I believe my group was the only Thai guests that night) so I think they were curious and excited to experience this tradition. We booked a one-day tour program for the second day so we spent the whole day away. The hotel staff were supportive in providing an extra boat trip to get us back to Phuket. We came back again around sunset with some other guests. Then the next morning we left. A couple things to note here is that if you plan to visit some places in Phuket at night, it might not be convenient because you'll need to book the hotel speedboat in advance. I'm not sure if they would charge you for an extra trip or not, so it's better to ask beforehand. We didn't ask for cleaning service during our stay so no comments on that. But cleanliness-wise, I noticed the TV remote control and kitchen supplies were a bit filthy from not being cleaned thoroughly. The staff were really, really nice and supportive. Overall, we had a really nice time there and were impressed with everything. If I'm gonna be on a long holiday in Phuket again, this place will definitely be one of my first choices.…
The Village Coconut Island is the best resort I've stayed at. The staff are super friendly, service on-point, the resort is beautiful and quiet, and all in all the experience is luxurious. They provide a ferry for you from the Laem Hin Pier and even drop you off / on with a golf cart when you book excursions. The food is delicious and healthy and there are many options. All the staff speaks really good English and remember your name / orders.
5*****only on paper! Having tried another 5*****hotel nearby, this property deserves 2**. Because thefts are committed in the room, Russian prostitutes have just exhibited when you eat at the restaurant, the staff are incompetent and do not hesitate to disrespect you, the taxi boat is not frequent and never on time. This establishment should never have reopened and remained closed due to the pandemic!
