2 hour after check in I see there is no hot water in the room. and I order room with bathtub because I want to use it. The staff can’t fix it and will not refund my money. I check out quick and find another hotel with running hot water and god service Bad service!!!!!!

I stayed with them for 4 nights, cheap price in this situation its good , room is nice and look clean, Myanmar receptionist he is ok , he helpful , very quiet that good, but first day smell not good maybe because hotel closed for long time I can understand this , but Myanmar housekeeper gave me old torn towels when she come to clean my room, she should check before give to the guest but I am not complaining but notice for them should more focus their job, swimming pool should be more clean and should change water everyday when you have guest staying in hotel. whatever all is almost ok I can understand in this situation.

After staying for 2 nights in a pig sty.... my husband and i were taking a walk around looking for somewhere else to stay, having seen this on a couple of sights we went and had a look, the night reception was a lady called Dang, i can not praise this lovely lady enough for her help, and even told us to come back the next day to take a look at the room we would be staying in if we chose to, it was lovely, we moved in the next day and spent the next 18 days in comfort, being looked after by the most amazing staff, from the cleaners to "Tan" the man that can... blown lamp - replaced within 5 minutes. A flood due to the air con, told reception when we came in after a night out, given towels to mop up the water, and fixed the next day before we left to go to the beach. Hired a bike that was a dream to ride, even the breakfast was lovely served in a bar overlooking the resort. Save our room for us for next February we will be coming back.

First off ... we arrived late at night, only to be told the superior room with breakfast booked on Air BnB was “already booked”, and we were instead taken to a “standard” room that was WELL below our expectations in terms of quality. Very very out dated furniture, finishings, and basically everywhere in the “resort” seemed very old, broken down and poorly maintained. Secondly, after complaining that the room we booked did not match the room we were given, the front desk lady moved us to a “family room” which was only bigger than the last ... still just as old and poorly maintained as the last. Also, breakfast is virtually non-existent as it’s packaged meats, white bread, atrocious coffee and no fruit. We ended up being refunded from Airbnb thankfully, and quickly moved to another place. Other things to note: apparently the Japanese owner of this property has a policy of not talking to guests directly in events of complaints; he insists on email ... extremely poor management of this place and we don’t recommend to anyone.

We stayed in August for 7 days. This was the worst accommodation ever. We're usually just happy with basic accommodation, but this was lacking in all areas. Positives: Front desk manager, very nice and helpful. Negatives: Probably had more problems or complaints than he should have needed to deal with. We know of 2 foreign family couples than pulled out in horror of their accommodation. People spend lots of time, money and emotional excitement looking forward to this, but are totally let down with their expectations. Pictures we're very very deceiving. Rooms OK, but do not get cleaned, only on 2nd day, (if you leave tatty curtains open), we were told after complaints. Cockroaches, need I say more 😖 Tatty towels. Drilling out front 9-5, strong smell of diesel, and noise 😖. They finally stopped it, after complaints. Pool on arrival had green algae around rim, finally after few more ppl arriving, they cleaned it up. Breakfast, by pictures say 6 available, but only 3 types were available, down to 2 on our last 2 days. No bacon, only sliced ham. Older male cook, smoking in between cooking. Absolutely no care factor, by any of their staff. The attitude is "No Care" until you complain. Which unfortunately filters down to the way the resort itself looks. Staff are only reactive, not proactive.

The Manohra Cozy Hillside Resort in Karon district consists of two distinctive wings and surrounded by tropical gardens, the resort is located 1.5 km away from Karon Beach, 2 km from Kata Beach and about 500m from Karon Market. This Lovely resort provides Spacious Thai-style polished rooms with either a balcony or a patio. A relaxing pool is in the yard with a poolside bar and some pool-chairs with sunlight umbrella for Relaxing. There's a division in the pool for kids. Surrounding area with tropical garden is really amazing especially when you are lying down in the poolside. The staff are friendly and helpful and the resort atmosphere is totally loveable. I rented a car from airport and I arrived the resort less than 75 minutes and there was no difficulty for the parking. The free parking for cars & motorbikes is situated on site. Rooms come with free Wi-Fi and safety box. Services and cleanness are Excellent. Some services like motorbike rental are presented by reception. The specific restaurant of the resort is called "Garage Mountain View". it's decorated with the elements of the Automobile and Gas station and it has a interesting scenic view and almost an open air area for sitting and eating. The route to the "Garage Mountain View" is interesting and is decorated with some painted wagons. Mid range quality food with a normal price is served here. Finally, This hotel was a "TripAdvisor's Choice" and I chose the hotel because of that, so I appreciate TripAdvisor for this recommendation.

We've booked 4 nights (110 AUD per night) but arrived one day late (informed the hotel about it via phone and email). When we arrived around 4 pm on the new years eve we were informed that they don't have our room because they accidentally gave it to other guests and we need to stay in the bus room (much smaller and no patio). I was desperate not to stay there so we've asked for refund but the staff (clearly afraid of paying any fees to booking.com) asked us to take care of this by ourselves by contacting booking.com. Luckily for us, some guests saw us fighting with the reception staff and they offered us their room!!!!! (They booked several rooms so they just checked out from one of them earlier) The staff didn't want to refund their room but I really hope that in the end they did. After that we had to wait for about an hour for our room to be cleaned and then they just told us to go to the room. No explanation given, no help with luggages offered (until we asked for it), nothing about the breakfast (which was supposed to come with the room) . Overall a terrible experience at the end of our 3 weeks holidays!!!! We also made the mistake and booked airport transfer with them. The driver was supposed to arrive at 3 PM but he was 30 minutes late! To the airport.... Really? Here is a list of what we didn't like: - overbooked (upgrade offered to a worse room) - staff not helpful - pool staff doesn't know bartending (just go for beers) - poor looking breakfast which was not offered to us at all (despite booking room with breakfast) - road to the beach leads through busy roads (not suitable for walking) - taxi booked by the hotel to the airport was late half an hour - building needs renovations in many places - loud AC - ants in the room - unstable shower temperature

This is our second trip to Thailand. We came last year. We loved our experience and had to come back. This hotel put a damper on the whole experience. Dirty, not helpful, no gas to cook our breakfast, holes in the ceiling, smell of sewer, dirty pool, dirty room, no blankets.. the list goes on. We by far are not a picky couple. I even like to rough it at times but this place had a bad energy. We left by choice the next morning after a long flight. No refund on the room but it was worth it to leave. Shame on you for representing Thailand in this manner!

Dirty, dingy, old and depressing. This place is terrible,we left after one night. They put us in room 203 and we could smell sewer gas in the morning. They said they would move us when people checked out but we saw empty rooms,it was too late anyway,we wanted out. I used booking.co and I wish I could have posted a review on there but it wouldn't let me because they cancelled my reservation. The breakfast wasn't available because the gas wasn't working but it looked bad from the crap they put out,the coffee was dishwater. The room wasn't clean,we always take cleaning things with us in case, the table in the room wiped off grime with a cleaning wipe. This building hasn't seen basic maintenance in years, it was in desperate need of TLC. The screen doors were falling apart and didn't even close, paint was peeling everywhere on the outside of the building. Don't do it!!

I'm not a picky person, I enjoy my stay in even sub-par hotels if the staff/manager/owner are nice people, but this hotel was such a horrendous experience I would tell anyone who asked me to stay away from this place. I booked this place through a travel website, which unbeknownst to me had a glitch in their payment process. I tried booking this place twice and after entering my card details, it threw me an error and requested me to redo the payment process again both times, which I did and the booking finally went through the third time. Turns out, of the first two times it failed, one time the payment actually went through and the booking got confirmed, which meant I had two confirmed booking. It was a non-refundable booking, so I reached out both to the travel website and the hotel once I found out within the hour. The travel company also reached out to the hotel, and they actually denied cancelling the first booking that had gone through the technical glitch. This was not a last minute booking, I'd booked more than two weeks in advance. I know it's not the hotel's fault that I ended up with overbooking but they could have made the resolution much easier. It was astounding to me that they wanted to profit off of someone when a mere technical glitch had caused them to overbook, of which I had proof. When we reached the hotel, the staff showed me the two standard rooms I had booked for five people which literally only had one queen bed each, so it could only for four people. When I asked where the fifth person would sleep, they were like -ya, it will only fit four like I was suppose to just accept it, even when I had booked for five and had no such problem at any other place during the whole trip in Thailand. The hotel had already given me a bad taste by then and I knew I couldn't expect anything better from them, so I asked them to show me the first set of rooms I had inadvertently booked and I slept there instead, three flight of steep stairs away from family. As a "concession" they wanted to give me the set of keys for the all the rooms from the first booking so I could be sure they were not booking it out to other people, like I'm some kind of petty asrehats like them. Overall just a bad experience. I wouldn't want to stay here even if it was the last place available. I would give them a still lower rating if it was feasible.
