Feel like home !!

Had got two units for a week through time-sharing on my dad's DAE membership one on 1st floor & the other one on ground floor from Jan 19th to Jan 26th 2019.. Location wise not so great if you want something close to the beach (one & half km walkable distance from beach).. otherwise in a peaceful locality close to the market & supermarket.. also has plenty of eating joints, thai massage parlours, travel booking counters & currency exchange counters at walking distance from the property.. The unit consists of a spacious bedroom with attached big & clean bathroom & also has a spacious dining cum sitting space adjoining the bedroom (first floor unit even has balcony attached to it).. there is a mini kitchen attached to this space with microwave, toaster, stove & well stacked crockery & utensils (lots of it !!) the property does have a swimming pool too in case you want to take a dip at the end of a tiring day !! reception desk staff are courteous & friendly.. the biggest drawback is that they dont understand english well.. but if they manage to understand you they go out of their way to help you.. also note that rooms get cleaned once in two days.. Would recommend this property to those who prefer a very lazy vacation away from home & not venture out much..…

Don’t stay here!

This hotel is terrible! We arrived at 7pm last night and there was no one to check in with. Over an hour later we get a room key only to find our room was not ready. They had no sheets or blankets. Said they could not get any and therefore had no room for us. We insisted they give us a room so someone showed up with bedding. A peach fitted sheet and pink cover. Not what they advertise! They laid a couple towels over the badly worn couch for my kids to sleep on. I have been emailing with the management company but their response times are bad. We tried to cancel our stay but that was not possible. This is an expensive room, don’t pay the money!

1 week stay in March - Family of 4

The week we had was a time share exchange so was expecting the place not to be a hotel. The 1 bedroom apartment was OK and central to Kata but away from the traffic. Room was clean and had no issues. The staff were good and helpful. Pool is small (now can look at everything on google earth) but was prepared for it. It is good that the place is off a main road and was lovely and quiet. For food, there is a small hotel just along the road called "The Orchid House", which is where we ate most of the time. Food was good and inexpensive.

Nice apartment in dirty Kata

3 nights 4 days Lovely staff and clean pool Located near the north end of Kata beach Access to beach is past the sewage treatment mixer and then along the large drain that then deposits this onto the beach. At the north end of the beach, it smells of drains where this water mixes with the seawater. Perhaps there is a bit too much development in Kata and the signs are showing.
