We reached the hotel in the evening, and the staff greeted us, served us hot tea and coffee quickly, Rooms were very neat and clean and very spacious, with balconies with beautiful views of mountains.Food was nice as well. Overall a nice experience if you go with friends & family.
Being an avid reviewer this is one of my rare negative reviews. The property is not bad at all. Rooms are good, the property is amidst apple orchards, good view of the peaks, good food. Then what's wrong ?? The people, their attitude and behaviour. We (two families) stayed there on 5th October in 2 rooms. The teaser didn't work, the flush did't work and the drains were clogged. On requesting to fix it, they said it can't be fixed now we will check it tomorrow. Though the entire property was empty, the manager refused to shoot us to another room. It was after a lot of argument is when they obliged. Being in the hospitality business the basic requirement is to be courteous and polite. That's something these people need to learn. I hope the management takes notes of this and course corrects things. ** Infact the next morning, after checking out we realised that we had left a jacket in the hotel. When we came back to take the kids wanted to use the washroom.... but the hotel guys denied access. This was height of cheapness. To anybody reading this - I would suggest there are so many other properties in Sangla, consider them.…
Location is great since it’s right outside the Kamru Fort and a local village school. The balcony in the room though tiny gives great view of the mountains and the activities of the school which are endearing to watch. Management is friendly and staff is helpful. Rooms are large and so is the bathroom. A simple stay for a day during transit in the Kinnaur Spiti valley.
