Detailed Reviews
After escaping a terrible holiday camp 30 miles away we were delighted that this Premier Inn had availability for 3 nights at a very reasonable rate. It was an excellent hotel, the room was extremely comfortable and cleaned to a very high standard in light of the pandemic. The reception staff we encountered during our stay were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
The Beefeater restaurant on site was a lovely place to eat, good food, helpful staff and very COVID safe.

This Premier Inn is situated on the old A20 and is outside of the main town of Ashford. It is next door to the Woolpack a Gastro Pub and it has a large, free car park. I am very pleased to say that there is a receptionist to greet you on arrival and it is always nice to be asked if you had a good journey by a pleasant lady. So thank you for the enquiry. The rooms are standard Premier Inn and what we expect nowadays. It has 2 floors and sadly there is no lift.
All in all, it was a good place to stop at. Thank you.

Booked the Premier Inn at Ashford north for a 3 night break. Loads to see in the area, it’s very central to lots of places, The staff here are extremely efficient and so friendly - nothing is too much trouble. We didn’t hear any road noise at night and our room was clean and comfortable, The Beefeater next door wasn’t open due to COVID and staffing issues but there is another not far away and plenty of other places to go and eat in the area. There is also a good fish and chip shop in walking distance. We would like to give special mention to Ann as on our last day our car broke down - she looked after us while we waited for assistance, offered us coffee and took our key to give to the breakdown driver so we could get a train home as soon as possible. If you want somewhere to sleep at a reasonable cost you can’t go wrong here,

This premier in gives you what they advertise, you know what you are getting.
A lovely warm welcome form staff and a straight forward check in. The room however had a damp and musty smell which hit you as soon as the door was opened. As we arrived late and had booked a family room there was no alternative.
We left before breakfast was served so can't comment on the food.
The car park could do with more lighting from a security / safety perspective.
A real shame about the smell of the room hence the score or the review.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it never disappoints. Service is always good, rooms are always very clean and the WiFi is reliable. Being just outside Ashford means it's quiet, and only a 10 minute car journey to the train station ideal for Eurostar.
Beefeater restaurant on site is also consistent, although if you have a meal deal and order additional items the bill is always wrong, so do double check.

Stayed at this Premier Inn last weekend. The receptionist was friendly. A really good point was that they'd put things you may have forgotten on reception, such as toothbrushes. Very handy.
It was quiet, even though we were next to a car park, which was great.
The hotel itself is a bit tired looking inside. The shower had intermittent pressure so it turned on and off whilst you were in it. But clean.
A major disappointment which seems widespread throughout Premier Inns are the beds. What used to be their main selling point ,'Hypnos king-size beds' in reality, you now get a creaky base, double bed with rock hard mattress.

We stayed at the Premier inn Ashford North either side of our short break to Disneyland Paris on 30 May and on 2 June. We found the location to be excellent, it is in easy driving distance of some great places to visit, we went to Canterbury and Whitstable whilst there. It was convenient for the M20 and the Channel Tunnel, being about 15 minutes drive away. There is a petrol station directly opposite which has a Londis shop for any snacks/papers and we made use of the Woolpack Beefeater next to the hotel and we found it very good for dinner and breakfast with the usual Beefeater menu.
In the room itself, we had a family room with a double and two singles, which in both stays was on the ground floor. The hotel is a bit rambling but its easy to find your way around. The staff were really friendly and special mention of Anne who was really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble .
The room was spotlessly clean on both stays and reception were no problem in getting extra tea and coffee. The beds were to usual premier inn quality and the room was just warm enough, and was easy to change the heater settings. The room smelt lovely and fresh and clean and covid measures were still being followed.
We all enjoyed our stay so much that we are going again in August for 3 nights and look forward to returning again. Thank you for looking after us!

Fast and efficient check in. Rooms are on 2 floors with no lift. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes from Ashford centre by car and is in a relatively quiet area. Spacious free car parking facilities. The room was to the usual Premier Inn standard with all the regular facilities. Extremely comfortable bed which resulted in a good nights sleep. There is Beefeater restaurant on the site for those wishing to eat close by. A good budget hotel ideal for those visiting the area

Very friendly reception staff who responded promptly to our needs and requests. Great location for travelling to the rest of Kent, with the beautiful Hothfield Heathlands across the road for walks, also a convenient petrol station across the road with a small shop for snacks and drinks.
Unfortunately the Beefeater next door was closed due to staff shortages due to "pingdemic" self isolations. This was beyond the Premier Inn's control, and my card was refunded for breakfast as soon as I checked in (also had a phone call a few hours earlier to warn me that the pub had just closed. We found a nice cafe, the Blue and White Cafe, on the A20 between Ashford and Hythe. It helped that there are tables and seating outside the Beefeater, which many guests were using.
The room was very hot and humid. A fan was provided but the window did not open far enough to let much air in, and the bathroom fan took time to clear the humidity which made it uncomfortable. Sleeping was very difficult due to the lack of cooling methods available whilst away (eg at home you can chill water in the fridge and freeze cooling mats/blocks etc). I appreciate the weather was outside of anyone's control and still enjoyed the sunny weather while out and about.
We would definitely return for another stay outside of summertime.

We chose premier inn to meet with friends that live a long way from us - we meet a different venues in between each other, and chose premier inn as we know we always get a comfortable bed & clean room for the night and a restaurant available for a nice meal. Felt disappointed at Ashford North. Room was as expected but evening meal very disappointing. Very busy and few staff available to serve. Venue was very tired and furniture had ripped seat fabric , tables were dirty and full of dirty glasses as not enough staff. Menu is very limited , not a great deal to chose from and had run out of several items. Waitress was rude advised she only had one pair of hands! True but not great customer service! Breakfast was much more relaxed and food was good quality and hot. Enjoyed breakfast.
We had room on ground floor and were disturbed during early hours by guests in room above walking across their room .reception were informed but not bothered. Not the best Premier inn we have stayed at but won’t put us off going to other premier inns.
