Good Service, Friendly and welcoming staff members. The rooms are old, but still have what you need. Nice Food in the Bistro and Good Food Specials on everyday. It is a all Round Good Old Country Pub. :)

We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday after doing some day tripping in the area. Smallish pub but wasn't as crowded as I would have thought for Sunday lunch. Food was just your average pub fare but it took a very long time to come out - probably waited around 50 minutes for my burger. If it was busy...

Nice little country pub, food can be a bit hit and miss in terms of quality but generally it's quick and a good size meal. Nothing fancy but it's a nice change of pace. I do enjoy stopping in for a drink with friends when I get the chance and have been back many times. Staff have always been friendly...

My partner and I stopped here for dinner before our 4 hour drive home. Being a Sunday night we weren't expecting to find many places open for meals on our way home but this place had a sign out front, advertising meals, so we decided to give it a go. The menu was full of your typical pub grub fare...

Our "family" motel room was messy and rundown. One of the main two lights was blown, there were no towels, the shower curtain was broken, the heater switch was missing, the hot water ran out after only one of us had a shower, a pair of dirty mens trousers was under the bed and the carpet was ripped up at...

Had a great weekend here with 15 of us following the Cancer Charity bike ride. Comfy quiet room with en suite., TV, fridge, tea making. Great cheap pub food, open fire and a publican that just couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. Nearby Wivenhoe Dam is a must.

Stayed at the fernvale hotel motel for 2 nights while visiting the wivenhoe dam. I could not ask for a better experience. The food was wonderful and very reasonably priced, the bar had such a great local atmosphere with great veiws of the fernvale hills. The family that runs the hotel are very friendly, welcoming and accomodating. The room I...

Stayed at the Fernvale Motel in November 2008. There were 3 in our travelling party. The Fernvale Motel is just another country motel. It was clean and comfortable but in need of a make-over (like most country motels in Australia). It is attached to the Fernvale Hotel/Pub There was one queen bed and two single beds which was ideal for...
