Impecable, bespoke property which has two of the nicest hosts that we have come across. Lovely rooms and gorgeous breakfast with views of Sue's stunning gardens. This property is just abouve the harbour area of Honfleur at the top of a 10 minute walk. Having stayed in the centre several times, and knowing the issues with narrow streets and parking,...

We would like to thank our guests for their lovely comments - we are so pleased that they enjoyed their stay with us over the weekend of la Fête de la Crevette, and very much hope to see them again.

We have just returned from a holiday in Brittany and Normandy and this was by far the best overall accommodation. Perfect can only describe the lovely hosts Vic and Sue - their home is beautiful and the room (we had the groundfloor with patio) immaculate with lovely ensuite. The garden is fantastic and guests are encouraged to walk round and...

We would like to thank our guests for such a wonderful review. We are so pleased that they enjoyed their holiday in France, especially as it culminated in such a memorable family reunion in Paris. One to remember!

We very rarely provide reviews however will make an exception for our recent trip to France where we stayed for 2 nights at La Maison de Lavande. This is a beautiful property where we were given a very warm welcome by the owners Vic and Sue. They are knowledgeable of the area giving us recommendations for restaurants etc. They are...

Many thanks to our recent guests for their lovely comments. It was such a pleasure to welcome them to our home, and we do hope to see them all again in the future.

As others have noted in their reviews, this is a wonderful B and B and is great value for the money. Note that higher rated locations are a lot more expensive. The location is up the hill from Honfleur but this is an advantage as Honfleur is a very busy town and parking is difficult. You can expect a warm...

This was our first B&B stay during our 5 week vacation to France and we couldn't have asked for more welcoming hosts or a lovelier accommodation. Sue and Vic were so gracious, helpful and friendly that we felt like we were in the company of old friends that we had known for years. Their home is so wonderfully peaceful, relaxing...

A beautiful house and large garden (and with a guests private garden) in a very quiet environment, at less than 5mn drive from Honfleur's harbor. This is a perfect location for a peaceful week-end : rooms in perfect condition, no city noise (we woke up with birds songs), no such hassle as looking for a parking place, and lovely hosts...

We arrived in Honfleur to a warm welcome from Vic and Sue. We had arrived on the early ferry and so were grateful to be able to dump our car, unload our bags and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee before wandering into Honfleur. La Maison de Lavande is a lovely property, our room was bright, fresh and clean with...

We have just come back from our second visit to this quiet and very comfortable bed and breakfast. We were greeted as old friends, and once again Sue and Vic did everything possible to ensure our stay was a good one. Having previously stayed in the centre of Honfleur, we find that the ample ( free! ) parking is a...

We had a recent trip to Honfleur for Valentine's Day, and were very pleased with our stay at La Maison de Lavande, which is on a hill just above the town. Our room was very comfortable, and though not particularly large, it was very pleasant to have the balcony with a lovely view over the garden. This B and B...

We have just returned from a fine 4-day trip to Honfleur, where we stayed at La Maison de Lavande in the downstairs room, with the private semi-shaded terrace. We fully enjoyed the comfort of both room - clean, bright, cosy, not that spacious, but then again the private outside space amply makes up for that - and terrace. Moreover, we...
