Realy kind people and a nice relax place to stay. We were welcomed with a nice beer, view on the volcanos and a good meal. After dinner some relax time near the fireplace. The dat after, we already checked out, we came back from Mount Bisoke, completely muddy. We're offert another hot shower and in the meantime the cleaned our...

Fantastic location, comfortable rooms and good food before or after a visit to the gorillas. Nice terrace, friendly service and only about 100m from the gorilla HQ. Not luxurious but very comfortable. Not bad value either.

This is a really convenient and quiet place for gorilla and golden monkey trekking. It is literally across the street from the RDB where you meet before going gorilla trekking. It's affordable at $40USD/night for a double. Rooms are okay. Pretty clean but lots of bugs get in at night so it's good they have bug nets around the beds.

Though this guest house is only given 1.5 stars we found it to be fantastic. Sure, it's not 5 star luxury, but it was more than adequate for our needs. The room was basic but comfortable, and whilst there is limited hot water, it was enough if you were quick! Food service was definately a little slow, but if you...

The location is great as it is only a couple of 100 metres away from the NP HQ. They have a nice terrace as well. Service is friendly but very slow (even for African standards). Food was served lukewarm. Rooms were cheap so value for money is OK, however, even at the low price I would have expected cleaner rooms...

Kinigi guest house is basic but functional and an ideal accommodation option for folks going gorilla trekking as it is only 5 minutes walking distance to the park headquarters. There is room options ranging from beds in a dormitory to double/twin rooms which are ensuite with fairly modest bathrooms. For those who prefer a bit of luxury, there is a...

We stayed here for two nights when we visited to do the gorilla trek. Our room was very basic, very nice size though. As I didn’t bring a book and the wifi wasn’t the best there was not much to do. We were in the hotel from 2pm so sitting in front of the fire was the entertainment. They even...

Very basic accommodation, but perfectly located to go on the Gorilla hikes and Golden Monkey trails. Do not visit Rwanda for the food or accommodation, but come for the Nature and experience, which Kinigi is perfectly situated for.

The fundamentals for a stay anywhere in Rwanda are a comfortable bed, hot water, electricity and a flushing toilet. The Kinigi Guest house provided all of these although we did experience a power cut early in the morning which made packing up interesting in pitch darkness. The lodges are basically furnished which is all that is required for a one...

“There weren't many rooms by the looks so any would be fine. If you are travelling in a group or family the VIP room might be ok with 2 bathrooms (1 with shower, 1 with tub), a "lounge" area, however, only 1 double bed.”

“Corner room is big enough for 3 persons. The staff added us there one bed, so we could share one room and it was also for better price than take 2 rooms.”
