We stopped enroute to Norwich for some lunch, having driven past for many years! So glad we did, we had lunch in the coffee shop, sandwiches and coffees. Really good value and lovely surroundings with a real fire and comfy chairs. As we walked in we noticed both the bar and restaurant were busy which is a good sign, we...

It was in the run up to Christmas so our little family group was greatly outnumbered by some larger groups enjoying Christmas parties, so noise levels were a bit raised as you'd expect but within reason (for the season). Delicious and plentiful carvery and they serve some adnams beers so can't be bad. Midweek lunchtime carvery prices so reasonable. They...

I stayed here several years ago. Wasn't impressed. It seems to have been refurbished. Room and bathroom excellent. Nice oak furniture, large shower. Room too hot on arrival. Had to open window! Good breakfast.

We had both been working away and return home on the A11. We have often seen this place and wondered what it is like. Well we stopped this time and will do so again. We had a lovely meal at a reasonable price. The restaurant was relaxed and had a lovely atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Glad we finally...

We have just spent three nights here. The triple room we had was very clean. Staff were great. We arrived just after 21.30 on the Friday night. Food had finished but when staff found out we had just travelled over 9 hours from Scotland they happily served us. We cannot fault the food or service and will coming back again.

Perfect in every way. Came down for a long weekend in Norfolk with friends. The Lodge has been recommended by a Norfolk resident. The room was fabulous and a very good price, there is an excellent choice of dining venues, fantastic, friendly and professional staff. Definitely planning to return very soon.

Easily found, just off a roundabout on the A11, with plenty of parking. Clean and modern cafe with a good selection of teas, coffees and cakes. Also a restaurant and a pub. Hotel too (though I haven't stayed).
