Enjoyed our stay in our pool access room. Highly recommend the upgrade. Close to shops and right on the beach. Walking distance to everything in kata. And a short tuk tuk ride to patong. The breakfast gets a little repetitive but all in all the food was edible. We stayed for 9 nights. 4 in the pool access room and...

We were holidaying with another couple and were also given a room with two king single beds in both of our rooms but we just pushed them together and housekeeping made up the bed accordingly the next day. The rooms were nice and clean although some of the doona covers and sheets needed upgrading there were some small tears which...

We love this hotel for its great value in the off season, closeness to the beach, friendliness of the staff and proximity to shops and other restaurants. The only disappointment is the hardness of the beds ! We have always been lucky enough to have a large corner room for which we are grateful when staying for several weeks. Be...

We had a four night stay (three double rooms) as a long weekend break. The hotel is right on the beach with a good pool area which was great. Check in was lackluster and uninspiring, staff were just friendly enough and not overly polite or warm. Restaurant staff were equally flat. The resort is very tired and dated and generally...

Me and my extended family visited Phuket for the first time and stayed at the Kata Beach Resort and Spa. When we booked our trip we kept an eye on all the reviews and began to be worried by the poor feedback. After our trip I came to the conclusion that it’s more about the type of person who does...

We've just spent 10 days here a family of 6 adults and 2 kids. We were booked to stay at Karon Beach Hotel, unfortunately this hotel was closing down for renovations and we were moved to Kata Beach Hotel. We were a bit worried due to all the negative reviews...anyway we enjoyed our stay here, location on the beach is...

The hotel location is excellent with direct beach access, however, you need to rent a sun lounge if you would like one on the beach, only 100 baht per day so no big deal, but the hotel does not have service etc on the beach. Beyond location, there's not much to say. The hotel has definatley seen better times, many...

We stayed here for 6 nights during our honeymoon and we were very happy!! The room had no view, which at first threw us off a bit. But it only made our room more cozy and nice. We were greeted at the reception desk with ice cold hand towels, which on a very hot and humid day was very nice....

The only best thing is the location with direct access to beach and restaurants/etc.We stayed 2 nights away after bustling patong. Swimming pool is small (wonder how guests could use the pool during high season) and hotel is getting old. With the rate, the only reason worth paying is because of the beach. No interconnecting room for family with children.

This is a slightly dated hotel that's a bit rough around the edges, but it has a great location. There are lots of little tour organisers close by, you can hire scooters from 250baht from across the road and there are some lovely restaurants doing Western and Thail food. There are enough places to drink and relax. This is a...
