The hotel is nice but upon arrival the pool water needed some extra filtering (water OK after 2 days), most of the parasols were broken and the deck chairs need to be cleaned or replaced. Breakfast is sober but OK, toast the bread if you want to enjoy it. Beautifully situated next to the lake we spent a very relaxing...

This is a lovely, slightly quirky, Hotel right on the lake looking across towards the whitewashed village of Iznajar, about 25 minutes walk away. The staff were charming and helpful the breakfasts were ample and taken in a splendid Andalucian patio courtyard. The hotel is great value for money and you can sit on an evening and watch the sun...

We stayed here for one night as part of a cycling tour. The hotel is off the main road and looks over the lake. It is about 25 minutes to walk into town. The hotel is family run and beautifully decorated in authentic, "old world charm" Spanish style. The staff are friendly and helpful, and come with a sense of...

Dear Sue, Many thanks for your comment. From the 26th June, we are serving the dinner on the summer terrace, becouse you come before. About the air condition in the room, was a big surprise to read, because every rooms has air conditioning. Hope to see you one more time. Your sincerely. Caserío de Inzájar Team

.......... not part of a group of hotels; but run by a really nice man. He & his staff speak a little English, which is more than I speak Spanish, but no problems. The setting has to be seen to be believed; one feels as though the hotel is on an island but in fact it is close to the...

We stayed for one night and we're delighted with our experience. Caserio is a typical Spanish style hotel, great location on the lake , a twenty five minute walk to the town. Hotel rooms are very nice , clean, with views over pool patio and the lake, stunning. We took the all inc meal deal, great value , especially goof...

Stayed here recently for 3 nights and cannot fault anything - from the moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel at home. Lovely setting, lovely staff, lovely experience. Would definitely stay here again and will certainly be recommending it to family and friends.

We've just had a week at this hotel and really enjoyed it. We arrived in the middle of a fiesta, literally! It was an hour to drive from Malaga and then an hour to go the last 300 metres or so because we got caught up in a fiesta that was arriving in the area next to the hotel. It...

As we live nearby we make frequent visits to the Caserío, this month we have lunched there twice. As always the food was delicious particularly the salmorejo (a perennial favourite of ours), the staff attentive and as helpful as ever. We still marvel at the setting with panoramic views over the lake and toward Iznájar. The interior patio in true...

I'd echo other reviews: lovely hotel but noise travels incredibly easily within the hotel. The staff happily chatted and clattered about in the reception area till quite late and this was easibly audible in our room. Perhaps they could keep their voices down?

We enjoyed the arrival and the evening in the hotel, the room is basic but the bar and reception area are nice to sit and read and have a chat. The views at the lake and hills are beautiful. Unfortunately the evening ended very noisy as a group of Spanish families arrived in the hotel at 10pm, after their dinner...
