We held a photography workshop at Mt Cashel for 18 photographers. The facilities met all our needs perfectly including subjects and backgrounds for our photography. We brought models in and photographed them in and round the beautiful grounds, buildings and lake. Pat is a very gracious and attentive host and took care of all our needs. He also gave lessons...

I'd stayed at the cottages before but this is the first time staying at the stables. Everything was great. Lots of space and the location is as great as ever. The kitchen is well fitted and thankfully has more than enough cutlery and glass - so often you rent somewhere and there are not enough glasses for example.

I stayed in the "lodge" for close to 5 months while in Ireland on business. The grounds are so lush and offer the perfect place to unwind after a long day. Pat and Anette went out of their way to may it feel like home...going so far as introducing this US Football fan to Munster Rugby...TWICE! When my wife,or whole...

Well what can I say, after being let down by the cottages we always stay at, we found this, and what a find, stunning surroundings, beautiful cottages, well looked after. We rented Lodge 1 on our stay and our extended family rented the Stables, I don't really know what to say to describe this place, its perfect, the owner has...

This had to be the best beginning to any vacation. We arrived after an overnight flight very early in the a.m., found our way to Mr. Cashel Lodge (after passing it twice --so use your eyes) where Pat had said he'd just leave the key in the door. As we were letting ourselves into the Lodge, Pat shouts and waves...

This place was incredible. The photos on the website do not do it justice. The place was so magical. Waking up every morning to a picturesque view of the lake, playing on the water, and hiking the property were some of my favorite things. It was so much fun for the entire family and very relaxing. Garden fresh veggies, fresh...

Have stayed with friends at the Stables twice now. Absolutely beautiful setting, lake is mesmerising. Really easy to get to from Shannon airport and a nice walk into Sixmilebridge. Owners are laid back, but there if you need them, which is just what you need from such a place. Now I'm writing this I want to go back again! Loved...

We had the priviledge of staying 3 nights in the carriage house at Mount Cashel Lodge. What an absolutely amazing place! We were greeted upon arrival by Buster and Bella, the family dogs and also by Polly the chicken a little later on! Our cottage had everything that you could possibly need and was immaculate. It looked out over a...

Our family of 4 stayed 4 nights and couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath Stables comes with so many extras: washer/dryer, dishwasher, use of canoe & kayaks on lake (which I didn't realize until we got there that there was a lake on the property -- right outside our backdoor). Incredible view from the downstairs and...

Stayed in the stables with family while working nearby. I highly recommend this property for a family holiday - there is so much to do and the property is excellent. The owners are very friendly and more than accommodating!
