We stayed 1 night in this Ibis. We booked it, because Givet was the starting point of our bicycle trip Trans-Ardennes, La Meuse à Vélo, and we needed a place where we could park our car for several days. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpfull. The hotel has a big parking and they adviced us to park our car after the hotel, so you could not see him from the street. We were able to park our bicycles in a safe place too. It is a typical Ibis budget hotel, so do not expect any luxuary, but that you know in advance. The room is the standard Ibis budget room, and breakfast buffet is basic, but enough for the price you pay. Room was quiet and clean. Lidl is next to the hotel. Mc Donalds is close too, but not far from the Mc Donalds is an Eastern Buffet restaurant, Le Royal Givet. For a fixed price, you can eat as much as you like from the buffet. It is not gastronimic, but good for the price. For better food, go to Givet! It is about 1.5 km to the town center and to the bicycle route la Meuse à Vélo.

Nice modern simple predictable friendly Ibis. What’s more to say ?
Easy to find, reception was still open close to midnight on a Sunday (though there’s a code system to handle very late arrivals too). Clean rooms, modern fittings. Large car park on site.
No shower door so you need to take care when showering; plastic under sheet so a bit sweaty; rather basic breakfast but adequate.

Came to Givet for a family reunion. After booking via Booking for 2 months our rooms. We report to the Inn who explains that there is no room in the Inn. Our Reservation is well notified but not honor. We are told that we must leave the premises with our children.
Managers accept booking guests when space is available but fire them to sell more expensive rooms to other guests.

Basic budget hotel just outside the center of Givet, across the street from an Intermarché hypermarket. The rooms are small but clean, all basic facilities are available. The walls between the rooms are made of cardboard and therefore not really noise-reducing.

Clean room and friendly staff, however there are odor problems in certain rooms which they do not hesitate to rent...
Family night with a child. Adults have woken up in the middle of the night with the urge to vomit and gagging at the smell of sewage coming from the vents! Verdict sleeping with garbage smells with the window open and with heating for a hotel! We are told this is a known issue.
A complaint was made and no news from the hotel to date. Ashamed !
Don’t hesitate to alert us of bad smells as soon as you arrive so you don’t end up like us.

Worse and worse as the temperature.trace of humidity on the ceiling,.Each time problems..once it was the door of the entrance lock..either internet..or air conditioning..the shower equipment of poor quality,this time the air conditioning works halfway and no internet. Beverage dispenser only by piece, we do not always have change on us or at the reception.breakfast at 9 euros , abused for the little thing on offer and quality. Haven't stayed in a Ibis budget for a while. The room was OK with a few minor faults but the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is just outside Givet and there is a big Intermarche opposite. We only stayed one night on our way to Germany but Givet looked a nice place on the river, and I wish we had had perhaps another night to spend a day there.

Worth stopping at if all you're after is a decent nights sleep while passing through. no food on site, McDonald's across the road. Vending machine in the foyer. It's just a little bit too far out of Givet to walk in easily for a meal. Breakfast served up was small in choice but very tasty. I'm not sure if I am off the mark here but I got the impression some residents had been there a while, and wondered if they had been placed there by housing associations as emergency accommodation. I could be completely wrong though. There was the remnants of a burnt out vehicle on the tarmac in the car park. Other than that my motorbike was perfectly safe outside all night. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would happily use again.

Hotel in need of a refurbishment, but OK for one night. You get what you pay for. Rooms are the standard IBIS Budget style, Rooms were not the cleanest. There is parking outside the hotel. The hotel is located on the outskirt of Givet, which is a pretty town, There are supermarkets and Mc Donalds within walking distance of the hotel.
