No problem to move us. The hotel wasn't full that night. The rooms were very clean and seemed newly renovated. The beds and pillows were excellent. We had a very good night's sleep. Good breakfast the next morning before taking off along the river for the next biking phase.
Wifi weak in upper floor rooms. Shower head was not very practical for the taller person. If you are 6ft+ your head will be directly under the shower head. Hotel location is great for local activities
I booked via Booking.com at 5pm and at 6pm when I arrived the hotel was closed. I waited 1 hour before finding alternative accommodation. At 9pm the hotel phoned me after I messaged several times through the web site I booked with to ask if I still wanted to check in. I tried to get a refund but they have so far refused to do it. So not only did I pay for what looked like a nice hotel for the night I paid again to stay somewhere else. AVOID this place
Our reservation at the Hotel St Hilaire was acknowledged but we had not booked that hotel, we wanted to stay at the Roosevelt. Be warned if you book the Roosevelt, you might not be staying there….
The capsule bathroom was far better than many and the views and its setting on the Meuse have the makings of an excellent short stay location. Maybe better care is taken when the restaurant is working - the Roosevelt is letting itself down in the meantime. A real pity because this is a lovely part of France and worth rather more than an overnight stay.

"Taller travelers should check top floor rooms as some have restricted head height and low shower heads. Also wifi access poor on top floor"Read full review
"The front room has the view of the river, but also the traffic noise. Being used to traffic noise, this did not bother us, but it may bother others"Read full review
"Avoid if possible the front of the hotel - we could have been unlucky but the local kids seemed to gather outside for shouting contests that went on until about 2 am. Admittedly this was a Saturday night but it's not exactly conducive to rest."Read full review
