We had been to Auli in Jan 2023. This was the time when people were scared of visiting Auli due to the Joshimath debacle. We did not find cracks in any structures there. The hotel was very good. The rooms were quite cosy with room heater and a bed warmer. The bath had 24 hours hot water. The food was also delicious. The manager was very warm and helpful. They had an adjacent hotel CASA which was quite grand compared to our hotel

This resort has the best view of Nanda devi pìeak, second highest Himalayan peak in India. It was hard to find a good resort in Auli. When I first zeroed in on Casa Himalayas it took my breath away but rates were steep. Fortunately, came across Mountain Rover managed by the same team and within the premises of Casa Himalaya. Mountain Rover resort is perched at a height and a flight of steps…about total 50 steps leads to the rooms. So accessibility for Senior Citizens may be a problem. These rooms were mainly made for mountaineers and trekkers as a transit night halt we are informed. So the rooms are basic and rustic but we are informed that they would be renovated soon. The rooms have been provided with good tower heaters and electric blankets which are essential for the bitterly cold winters of Auli. The buffet meals are served at Casa Himalaya. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious wide spread buffet breakfast and dinners at Casa Himalaya. The sunrise and sunset views on the Nanda Devi Peaks from Mountain Rover are absolutely gorgeous and to get this view from the comfort of the bed is truly the icing on the cake!They have a cosy cafe in the premises and we had an amazing veg burger with fries one evening and it was awesome. Kudos to Mr. Ajay Bhat for creating these awesome properties in Auli. The travel was worth after braving the long journey to Auli…The room which we were recommended was absolutely fabulous an amazing 360 panoramic view of the mountain range from the window itself. One can feast their eyes without standing in the open. The room also has a nice spacious balcony.

We stayed here on December 1st. We mainly chose this hotel to enjoy the Mountain View. We had a pleasant stay here and the food served was also v good.we asked for local cuisine and I appreciate their effort in making this specially for us. The service is good and overall we enjoyed our stay at this place.

A serene place with a great view!! The staff was awesome and room service was quick. Food quality was good. Clean rooms with all required facilities. The resort is very near to the GNVM Ski Resort for the activities, ropeway and the chaircar.

The staff is absolutely awesome. Very polite and ever ready to help. Mr Mohan guides you well about the surrounding trek. Knows quite a lot about the valley of flowers. Honest guys. Food can be better but is still a good deal in remote auli. The place has clean surroundings so its a better choice than resorts around ski resort. I dont write reviews but this one deserved it.

We stayed at Mountain Rover for 4 Nights/5 Days, the Rooms were Ok compare to Casa Himalaya Rooms, As both Rover and Casa are part of same hotel. Casa Himalaya Rooms are far better than Rover. The View, Food and Staff are great, special thanks to Ajay, Chandra Mohan, Hrithik, Rakesh and others. Only input from my side is convert Mountain Rover into Casa standard. For local sight seeing and airport transport we took service of Deepak Bisht (+91 8958524906), he is a fantastic driver and person. Thanks

The best stay experience a family could ask for. We were 2 families, both had very young kids to be taken care. Staff was always helpful in every possible way. They even carried my son when he couldn't walk on snow. Hotel is very near to the chair car location, just about 200 m walk. Best thing was rooms had heated bedsheets, which made sleep so comfortable, no matter how cold it was outside. Food was delicious, and best part, they made sure we got it hot even when we had bon fire till late.
