Blue Poppy resorts in Auli has 24 wooden huts with modern facilities. The Blue poppy resort is located as most beautiful location in Auli. You can visit anytime during the year and you will be greeted with different type of landscapes according to the season of visit. You can see clouds in monsoon season, snow slopes in winter season and clear peaks in summer season. All the huts in the resort provide you a 180 degree view of the higher peaks like Hathi, Ghoda, Palki and Nanda Devi. This is the only resort in Auli which is motor able and Nada Devi is visible. Our whole resort is constructed in alpine wood like Chid, Deodar and Raga. You will feel very nice fragrance of wood in the room. Apart from toilet floors and some pathways we did not use cement in our resort to protect the nature. This is heaven for birdwatchers as well. You can see lot of beautiful birds near the resort. We serve homely food and cook as per daily requirement. We never serve stale food.

Nestled in a scenic location, Blue Poppy Resort is often celebrated for its clean, comfortable rooms boasting breathtaking mountain vistas and convenient proximity to attractions like Auli Ski Resort. The hotel has garnered praise for its hygienic premises, delicious food, and the warm, attentive service provided by dedicated staff. This March we planned a trip for uttrakhand and our travel agent suggest us for Auli here we stay at Bluepoppy Resort. We are very thankful to our agent for planning such a great trip for us. Great locations best views. We suggest you to come Auli but never plan your stay at Bluepoppy Resorts. Staff was very helpful but thier management team don't allow them to help us fully. As there is minus temperature in night and they provide heater only for 2-3 hours and you need to spend whole night in freezing temperature. Food was good but they charge triple amount and says you have to pay that amount because of the altitude. They provide hot water in buckets and that too is only 1 time in morning rest you need to manage whole day in freezing cold water. I never suggest this property to any one.

During our two-night stay at Blue Poppy Resorts, we experienced serenity, gorgeous views of the snow-clad mountains, excellent hospitality and delicious food .

I would also like to mention that I appreciate the little posters in the restaurant that encourage people to finish what's in their plate and remind them not to waste food.

Special thanks to Mr Abhishek Bhatt, Mr Ranjit Ji and other staff for all their help during the stay, which made it so comfortable and memorable!

Would love to visit again!

We stayed at Blue Poppy for 6 nights and 7 days and indeed it was worth every penny we spent. The entire team of Blue Poppy ( Abhishek , Rana ji and especially Ranjit Singh ji ) made us so comfortable and our stay so much enjoyable. Always ready to accommodate and prompt with their services. Best part being the view , being at the end , they offer you the best view of the valley one could offer. Also comparatively being a new property they do have most of the amenities and in well condition state.

Three cheers for Blue Poppy! Hip Hip Hurray :)

Place of horror if you're coming in winters to enjoy the snow.. enjoyment will turn into a hellish experience.. the rooms, called deluxe ironically, have hardly any room.. with your luggage you're cramped for movement. No running hot water, that's understandable but all you get is one bucket of hot water in the morning. If you can survive on it, good luck.
The room is not temperature controlled, all they have is old style heating rods, that don't warm it up and also will suffocate you. They don't even have blowers, the walls have cracks so your can enjoy the freezing cold breeze in the night. Power goes often, so you're left at mercy of nature to stay warm. When there's snowfall, it's beautiful place but the housekeeping staff doesn't clean the snow, and you'll experience slippery slope and fall quite often, and very hard one at that.

The water heater jug is there but it's all scaled inside so your water isn't going to be pure of you heat it up.

On a positive note, the view is excellent from the rooms, and food is good but all vegetarian, you won't even get eggs here. Coffee and tea are horrible.. Just drink hot water instead and bring your own teabags.

You'll definitely have an experience that you won't forget for life, not something memorable though. Try a better property with better facilities, better instead stay in Joshimath.

From the magnificent location to the extraordinary vegetarian food served , everything was meticulously planned and executed..The staff are super courteous folks and take good care of their guests.
And what’s more the owners of this great place are wonderful hosts themselves and we are truly thankful to their generous hospitality.

We are a family of six who booked our trip to the valley of flowers in July through Blue Poppy holidays. The team had meticulously planned the trip for us and the overall experience was amazing. The team was excellent at communicating and keeping in touch, the itinerary was perfect and the location of the resort and the base camp were brilliant too. They are truly the experts who understand the nuances of the area and the weather there and constantly guided us on the best course of action. The food provided was simple and hygienic. The guide was very informative and friendly. Seema and Devkant ensured the trip was an unforgettable experience for all of us. I would highly recommend Blue Poppy Holidays to anyone who is keen to experience the beauty of Valley of flowers.

We have room heaters and electric heated blankets too. We provide them in winters only. Snow shall be there in Feb but no one can guarantee. This depends upon nature.
