We visited Auli, the ski capital of India during August so it was not about snow or skiing but just a relaxed comfortable stay...and Blue Poppy resort offers exactly the same. Cozy wooden cabins with large glass windows with awesome views of Himalayas welcome you to Blue Poppy. Resort also has a very lovely restaurant and serves good and tasty food. Staff is very courteous and friendly. Resort owners Mr and Mrs Sangwan stay here for few months in a year and shared some interesting stories about their journey and Auli region in general. While it is not a must, but a point to note that unlike some of the other remote hill stations, Auli had exceptionally good cell phone network coverage. Overall a great stay...would love to stay here again

Very nice & courteous group, glad to have booked our entire trip of 7 days with Blue Poppy Holidays. Warm, nice & helpful team. Had a fantastic experience. Their cottage at Auli is just amazing. Go for it.
This month I visited Auli with some of my friends. Surprisingly,I came in contact with the owner of Blue Poppy Resort. After conversation of short duration,I really felt the goodness of a person in him.I decided to visit his resort. And you won't believe, It was far beautiful and enchanting,I have ever seen in that location. It is really a nice place to stay and enjoy the overwhelmed beauty of Himalaya not only with your friends but also with your family.
We had just come back from trekking the valley of flowers. This resort's views are easily comparable to what we saw during the trek. You can tell the proprietor's have taken great care in ensuring a pleasant stay - from the rooms to the food. The chef is the real deal - I may have embarrassed him by profusely complimenting his simple and delicately crafted tomato soup, perfect for the mountain setting. The extremely sweet apples that we plucked right from the tree were an extra bonus. We could see Nanda Devi in its full majesty. A true Himalayan experience.
