Blue Poppy resorts in Auli has 24 wooden huts with modern facilities. The Blue poppy resort is located as most beautiful location in Auli. You can visit anytime during the year and you will be greeted with different type of landscapes according to the season of visit. You can see clouds in monsoon season, snow slopes in winter season and clear peaks in summer season. All the huts in the resort provide you a 180 degree view of the higher peaks like Hathi, Ghoda, Palki and Nanda Devi. This is the only resort in Auli which is motor able and Nada Devi is visible. Our whole resort is constructed in alpine wood like Chid, Deodar and Raga. You will feel very nice fragrance of wood in the room. Apart from toilet floors and some pathways we did not use cement in our resort to protect the nature. This is heaven for birdwatchers as well. You can see lot of beautiful birds near the resort. We serve homely food and cook as per daily requirement. We never serve stale food.

This is very nice hotel in Auli. We took cable car followed by chair car to reach the place. There is access through roads as well. However, I am not sure till where does it reach.

Rooms:
They have different options for room ranging from couple to family (around 5). We were lucky to get a room with a really good view. All of them are designed to provide a good view but since one hut is behind another one on same level, it often blocks the best view. We stayed in a couple room. The room and washroom size is adequate. Lot of sockets are available (which is a plus). There are two big windows which allows you to get a really good view of the mountains from the inside of the room as well. All the rooms have porch which is really nice. The rooms are equipped with portable heaters. However, geysers are not there. Hot water is provided in the morning for bath (brought in by someone). Rooms are like wooden huts.

Food:
The food is decent. However there is a lot of room for improvement there. Some of the items had too much oil (semiya, noodles). Desserts like suji halwa was really good. Good varieties of breads (chapatis) are served hot. It's mostly buffet but if something is needed, it can be ordered.

Service:
The service was exceptional! Abhishek had been really helpful. On the day of arrival, he called before hand to help with the arrival at the hotel. After the arrival through the chair car, he had sent someone (Ranjit) to pick up the luggage to reach the hotel. Ranjit was the person to reach out for anything and he had been really helpful as well.

Wonderful experience over at Blue poppy resort. We loved our stay here, also I must compliment the way they have built and maintained the place. Apart from the beautiful property that they have got which has such a superb view, I must really compliment their efficient staff members who were always on their toes for us and did it with a smile.
The property is at a secluded place with little noise and only nature around you.
We booked a family suite and it was spacious enough for a group of 6 people. The rooms were sparkling clean and waking up to such a mesmerising view was nothing but blissful.
It’s peaceful and a true experience of a “holiday” home.
During the stay we didn’t feel the need to even step out as we felt our cottage was enough to suffice our vacationing needs.
Already recommending this place to people who are looking for a peaceful abode for a completely chilled out vacation.

We visited auli on 14-18 jan and stayed at blue poppy. The location of the hotel is splendid with the mountain view from the room. Also it was very close to the ski point, lake and the hanuman temple. The staff was very kind and generous and were keen to help the guests. The food was also very tasty and hygienic. Everything was taken care of by the staff. Special thanks to ranjeet ji and ashok from the staff who made our stay memorable.

Myself and my son stayed at Blue Poppy. It was the finest places we have ever stayed, the huts are wooden/rugged, very comfortable, well heated, clean, with hot water supply and offers excellent home food.

Devkanth and his wife guided us very well, they are very nice/helpful people. I wouldnt mind going here and staying for 3 months.

The scenery around is just blissful. The staff are very helpful. They arranged our trip to the Gorson.

Pls dont miss, staying at this property and enjoy the nature's beauty.

This was one of the most amazing stay experience I had on my trip starting from the most courteous staff to clean cabins everything was very well managed.
The view from the room are just breathtaking.
The hotel staff Anuj was constantly in touch with us as we are driving from Haridwar.we reached late night around 10:00pm and were pleased the way they just helped us out with our luggage to our room and offering us hot soup as it was freezing outside.
The food was tasty throughout our stay.

Experience for life.
We booked blue poppy for our valley of flowers and Hemkund sahib along with Badarinath included. There was not a single moment of regret.
Firstly the stay in Auli is extremely comfortable. We were in logged cabins and they were extremely cosy ,clean and even the bath towels were fresh.
Absolute courteous staff and ready to help you any time.
Lip smacking food at such high altitude where getting even basic food is hard
Good running hot water a must after a long walk for a good shower.
Extremely experienced and accommodative owners we completed both valley of flowers and Hemkund in two days and wanted to return Badrinath and stay there. The owner recommended not to stay in Badrinath instead recommended to finish darshan snd return to Auli camp at no extra charge.
This was we got to explore Auli also for a day
I found them to be very sincere and transparent.
They even made sure we covered some other places and did not miss on experience part
Always open for feedback
Overall it was one of best experience

Hie. I along with friends stayed at Blue Poppy Auli. It was an incredible experience. Designed in an eco-friendly fashion, it is so beautifully located that it gives amazing views of Great Nanda Devi. The staff, the food and the hospitality were excellent. The best thing was that the owner Mr. Devkant was personally available to ensure best care of the guests. It shows the high ethical sense of the owners, we were touched with the warmth he shown. Highly recommended for family, friends and solo trips.
Looking forward to be there very soon with family😊

The rooms are ideally located with the best views around. The quality of food served is amazing. The washrooms were clean and the oil based heaters did a great job as compared to the blowers as they made room more comfortable.

I and my husband recently visited Auli and stayed at Blue Poppy Resort. The resort has an amazing location with fabulous views of Nanda devi and other peaks. They offer buffet for breakfast and dinner with good variety and food tastes good. The cottages have decent space, clean washrooms and heater works well to keep it warm. The ground level staff is very polite and helpful.

The only thing we disliked was the reception staff (named Abhishek) attitude and lack of experience to deal with customers, he was impolite and rude. We saw him deal with other customers also in same manner and those customers also upset. Politeness is key in hospitality line.

Except for the reception staff behaviour, we loved everything about Blue Poppy and would recommend it to all.
