We stayed at No 8 for a night on our return trip to catch the ferry home. Andy couldn't have been more helpful, right from the start. He recommended a nearby restuarant to eat (Mailly- Champange doesn't have it's own restuarant, despite having an excellent champagne producer in the village), booked us a table and drew us a map of...

Stayed at number 8 for 4 nights - had a brilliant time, Andy made us extremely welcome, it felt like home from home. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable. My only minor complaint was some traffic noise in the morning, but that was because during our stay the temperature was very hot and I left the window...

yep, touristic offfer in champagne is surprisingly poor, and this one cofirms the rule. It's just somehow sad and poorly maintained. Breakfast is not bad, and it's not good. Rooms are depressing. Truth be said, price is honest.

Mailly-Champagne is a tiny village, so what a surprise to find a fantastic bed and breakfast. Run by a very friendly, urbane transplanted Englishman, this B&B is first rate. The owner has carried out an exceptionally well-crafted renovation of an old house, and the interior decoration is outstanding. The accommodations are superb. Great beds, terrific bathrooms, quality fittings and the...

I'm torn writing this review, because I'd actually prefer to keep Andy Wade's great B&B tucked away in a quiet little village 15 minutes drive from Reims just to ourselves. This was the third time that we'd stayed at No8 on our way to and from the South of France and we'll certainly continue to do so. The house is...

We stayed here last week during our short tour of the Champagne region. The location of the B&B is conveniently in between the Champagne scenic towns of Reims and Epernay and only a short drive from the Grand Cru village of Bouzy. The B&B itself was immaculate, well maintained and welcoming to guests who want to learn a bit about...

We stayed here for one night. A quiet, charming and spotless house. The owner Andy is most charming and made us feel welcome. A great location for touring the Champagne Region, Epernay and surrounding areas. A great find in Champagne and very highly recommended.

What a lovely find, great value! We stayed 2 nights at this b&b run by a very pleasant and delightful Englishman, Andy Wade, who was not only approachable but gladly shared his knowledge of the area. Immaculate accommodations, quiet street, nice breakfast. Great starting point to tour the Rue Touriste de Champagne. We highly recommend this B&B!

Andy was very friendly and accommodating. All the rooms are nicely decorated and well presented. Good location in the heart of Champagne, a short drive from Reims and Epernay. Very close to Vilmart, a fantastic producer! Would go back, highly recommended. www.no8bedandbreakfast.com

Excellent B&B, comfortable, spotlessly clean and great value. Host Andy was very helpful and gave some great recommendations on both cellar tours and places to eat. The B&B itself is located 15mins from Reims and perfect location to explore the Champagne region.
