The Nature's Trails Resort at Kundalika ,Kolad ( about 150 km) from Mumbai can be a good enough reason for a short one night break near the river side in the forest area.The resort's rooms are simple yet well maintained. The food served is also quite well prepared and should be suitable for all ages of people. The Staff though not very forthcoming is okay.The place is quite remotely located from the main highway.Outdoor activities such as rafting are available on payment.Best season should be after the rains are over ( October to December).

Naturetrails Resorts are a welcome beak from city life if you are staying either in Mumbai or Pune. The Kundalika Resort is situated at a remote location of Kolad inside a forested area. Mostly known for river rafting adventure, the resort also has some indoor games along with Kayaking and ziplining activities to keep u involved. Bird enthusiasts can go for a morning trip into the woods to hear and feel the nature at its best. Food needs a special mention with both veg n non veg item being very tasty.
Over all both my wife and daughter loved the stay and the experience a lot.

Visited in Sept 2022 with friends for 2 nights 3 days. The property is huge with lush green gardens, the activities are well organized (they have kayaking) and the food although simple and limited variety was very good. The AC in one of the tents was leaking which was not very pleasant, they could also do with some more staff so they can provide room service (else you have to walk every time to the reception if you need something), the wifi works only in reception area and there is no swimming pool. All in all a decent stay.

1. activities: visit if you are an adventure buff. rafting, kayaking, zipline, burma bridge etc are very good. 2. helpful staff: the reception staff, the activity conductor, kitchen staff etc are very helpful 3. food: you get traditional Maharashtrian food here. it was very tasty 4. the surroundings are too good; in the nature's lap
Minuses 1. Location: the resort is situated in deep rural area. the road to the resort is very poor. barely one vehicle can cross. the road is also rough 2. lack of amenities: The resort lacks basic amenities like network connection. you feel isolated. only Jio network comes that too too slow. there are no phones in the rooms. no television. 3. The property is good. the scenery is also good. but not properly maintained
overall it was a mixed experience. If you are looking for a relaxed weekend, this is not the place. however, if you want some adrenaline rush, go for it.

Had an amazing experience. The staff at the resort were also cooperative special mention of Abhishek and Vaibhav who were very friendly and cooperative. Enjoyed the kayaking experience and the best part was river rafting and swimming.

We had an awesome experience we all office colleagues went to this place, for offsite the team building activities taken were so happening we all enjoyed a lot and also the adventures after that like Zip-line, Kayaking were also fabulous. And lastly the stay was also very nice and a good place to visit in monsoons. Very courteous and helpful staff specially would like to mention Mr Rushikesh who is senior incharge there and very helpful for everything he managed everything so well and Mr Vaibhav is also been great support my special thanks to both of them last but not least the person who booked on there behalf Ms Harshada from sterling who sits in Mumbai was also a great great help Would definitely recommend

We (3 females) visited this place for some adventure activities and Nature bliss. We stayed at lake view cottage and it was amazing. With the view, cleanliness and hospitality. It was just great. Recommended for families and couples who want to stay surrounded by Nature at its best. With humble staff and amazing food it was a great stay. A stay to remember. This was my second visit in a year to this place again it was an amazing experience, this time I went with my cousins and friends for my bestie's birthday celebration and it was an awesome celebration. The Food was amazing staff was amazing everyone liked the food a lot. Place was peaceful and the activities were great. The best place for kayaking. Rushikesh who was on leave the day we visited but he kept checking on us by calling me to see if everything is going good and he made sure we get best experience. Only if you are going for a trail to the lake, then you will need a mosquito repellent. Otherwise the management is keen to help you with it in the resort. If possible carry one (if needed).
rafting is safe as it is organized by professionals and they are nice people. about crowd, well, seems like it's decent one as no one can bear such high costs of rafting. we went all boys but there were 2 more groups having equal number of girls in them. and they do enjoyed a lot.
p.s - don't go for the shorter rafting, as you will not feel anything, go for the long 13 kms one. it's something to experience, but better reach early morning
It was fun.. since it.was summer only dam water was there so rapids were simple... for first timers it simple and nice..
We again plan to go in rainy season when the rapids would be amazing...
Hi. You can bring your Pet. There are separate charges applicable. However you will have to ensure someone stays back to look after it while you go for rafting. Also pets are not permitted inside the Tents. Thanks Team Nature Trails.
