We visited Lansdowne and stayed at this hotel in September 2022. Overall the stay has been good and we enjoyed it. Here are the pros and cons of the hotel : Pros 1. Extremely courteous staff. They were very polite and accommodating our requests as much as possible 2. Amazing views. The view from the balconies is amazing, especially on the 3rd floor. Please ask them in advance to book the third floor for them. 3. Quiet location. The hotel is situated at a lovely and quiet location, which we loved. 4. The coffee was really good in the hotel. Also, we had ordered chicken biryani which was very delicious though a little expensive. Cons 1. I had booked one double room with balcony and one hill view room, especially asking the hotel to have it on the 3rd floor. On arriving, I was offered the rooms on the 2nd floor. On stating my request, they moved us to the 3rd floor, albeit they were both hill view rooms. I was still okay with this since the two rooms were together and they were cosy with nice views.

I and my wife stayed there for two nights in a weekend in June 2022. We paid Rs 9000 for two nights with breakfast & taxes being the weekend which we understood while booking it. When we reached the hotel in the late afternoon (location wise it is great) we found a decent space to park our car in front of the hotel. So our first impression was good but it was a nightmare when we entered the hotel. We were met by a person who was not even at the reception and came on our call was literally wearing a dirty vest. After the checkin, when we stepped further inside the hotel we witnessed dirty towels and linens lying on the floor all along the restaurant/corridor and the worst part was the lift when we got into, we were accompanied with again the dirty linens and towels which were smelling like hell as few check-outs were done and they were cleaning the rooms on every floor. Finally we were given with a room on the 3rd floor with mountain view (for which we obviously paid for). Now what to share about the rooms, the walls were dirty with feet marks near to the bed, cushions were dirty, furnitures specially the cupboards were so dusty as if it were not being cleaned for years. Oh my, the toilets - dirty and unhygienic. Soap stands were not cleaned from years _ I can't even explain - have shared the picture, and the toilet pot was so so pathetic like public toilets. But food taste was good. Sharing some of the pictures for you guys from the hotel room.

Location of hotel is perfect for Himalayan View. Most of the rooms of this hotel have two opposite side view by which one can enjoy both evening and morning. Hotel doesn’t provide Star facilities but it facilitates the eco comforts. Food is good and hygienic.

Worst hotel in Lansdowne . There is no management in the hotel . There are 2-3 shady looking men who run the hotel . Rooms are stinking with seepage , cockraches inside the room . Service is pathetic , you will have to wait for 20min for a maggi . 1hr for Pakora . Portion is also pathetic . No Breakfast was served inspite of complementary Breakfast .

Hotel Himalayan View is a decent hotel in Lansdowne. I booked the hotel just one day before so found it costly. Ambience: The ambience is good and clean. When you enter you realise it’s a 3 star hotel. Nice and clean rooms. 2 Water Bottled, 2 Glasses, Coffee and Tea pouches with sugar available. Kettle is also available. What not provided: No WiFi in the Hotel. Food is just Terrible. Nothing good to eat whether it be Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Uncooked, Oily and Less Quantity. Served with Uncooked and Oily Poori and Aloo Sabji with Oily Idlis. Only Poha was good but when I reached for the Breakfast, only one spoon was left and they didn’t served more. Even you have to pay for Onions. And the chef is very slow. They serve an order in around 30 minutes after ordering. Services: For Services I will give 5/5. Service is really good. Whatever problem you have be it with ROOM, TV or Toiletries they solve it in a moment. This is the best thing I noticed. Overall my experience was average. WiFi and Food I believe are the main problems as in Mountain regions Food and Network is the biggest problem.

This is very good hotel, located 500 metres from the lansdowne toll gate. I have visited lansdowne 3 times and this had been my most relaxing stay. This is a new property with a balcony attached to every room and a really beautiful views of the mountains. The staff also makes your stay very comfortable.

I visited the hotel with a group of friends, and the hospitality we experienced was beyond our expectations. The staff is very helpful and always eager to serve; the variety and taste of the food was quite delicious; and most importantly, the stay in the hotel is quite reasonable and will not burn a hole in the pocket. Good job everyone, keep it up!!
