Stayed here for 4 days during May 2015 and had the entire place to ourselves. The most beautiful place I have stayed. The Ocean on your doorstep with a swimming area that is safe for all ages. Although there is no hot water for the shower & no 240 volt power to the bungalows this only added to such a...

Towoc bungalows offer a true vanuatu experience, not a resort run and owned by overseas interests, Janeth, Peter and her family run and own the place, bungalows are set on the waters edge in a rural setting with cattle, pigs and chickens likely to pass by. Most of the food is grown in the family vege patch up the hill....

It must be said, these bungalows are set amidst some pretty fantastic scenery. Champagne beach is a 6 minute walk away, and Towok beach isn't anything to scowl at either! We stayed in the "family bungalow" which was clean and efficient. We are not picky travellers and more than happy with the basics - a cold shower is still a...

I spent 5 nights here with my family, we all loved it very much. Every morning you can collect fresh spring water (champagne water) straight from the edge of the beach, it tastes amazing! Speaking of tasting amazing, Mary's pancakes, yummo! Made fresh every morning and served with massive fruit platter(picked straight from the tree to you). Great breakfast. Most...

We stayed 10 wonderful nights at Towoc Bungalow's, we came as travellers but left feeling like members of the family. A family whose smiling faces and generosity we will never forget. If you are looking for an authentic Vanuatan experience staying in a stunningly beautiful location, where you can engage with the family and have the privacy of your own...

Towoc is not a European style resort. It is local bush accommodation. I have stayed at many local guesthouses and bungalows around the islands, and this is the best. The back bungalows are bush material on the top half and cement on the bottom half. This makes for clean, level floors that are easy to walk on, but with the...

Towoc Bungalows was a terrific 5 nights for us and a great halfway hourse between basic bunbgalows in a village to resort style accommdation. We stayed in one of the two beachside bungalows with separate toilet and shower (no hot water, but you didn't need it it was so warm). It was completely comfortable, although at 6000Vt a night the...

My wife and I stayed as guests at Towoc for five nights this last December. Janeth is a wonderful hostess and cook, and all of the meals are hand prepared and delicious -well worth the wait! We found all of the family and staff to be very pleasant and helpful arranging transfers and with local excursions. No problems with any...

It is with regret that I am writing this review. As the Towock Bungalows were recommended to us by a friend, and appears to have some stunning reviews. I want to share our experience to try and warn and equip other travellers. We stayed in the beachfront bungalows, with a bathroom ensuite. Far from simple, I would say they are...

Towoc is a gorgeous spot to relax for a few days. We stayed in one of the back bungalows for the first night. The bungalows (4500vt) are simple but well constructed and comfortable, with decent beds and mozzie nets. But the communal shower was broken so showering consisted of trying to wash off with a hose nozzle - not ideal....

“I'd definitely recommend the beachside bungalows but for younger people on a tighter budget I am sure the bungalows and dorms set back near the restaurant are perfectly okay.”
