We have just returned home from a 12 night stay at Ratua. A wonderful experience. We would highly recommend this destination for families who value a resort that connects comfort with the natural beauty of the region and its people. If you are after an air conditioned villa with infinity pools and chocolate fountains at your buffet go elsewhere. This...

We have just been to Ratua for our 5th time. It's not easy getting there from NZ but well worth the extra effort and each time we have stayed 12-14 days. We love it! It's our 5th trip back which possibly says it all, particularly as we are well travelled and have many places we could choose from . It's...

Fantastic 4 night stay on Ratua Island. Would absolutely go back for more! One of the best resorts we've been to. The entire experience was magical. From the nighttime boat ride into the resort and the welcome to the send off when we left it was everything we expected and more. The setting is fantastic, the rustic wood villas shipped...

I'd love to keep this amazing resort a secret especially for us, but as profits go to the Ratua Foundation, I feel obliged to share. We decided this is the best resort we've ever stayed at (and we've been to a few). It is an absolutely stunning location with plenty to do. We particularly loved swimming with the horses. The...

Stayed 4 days with our 3 children (7,5&infant). Blown away from the moment we arrived, the most beautiful experience. Children had a real 'back to nature' holiday and accommodation in 'Fish Village' was a delight. Food & staff were great. Excursion to school and maternity centre in nearby Malo Island is highly recommended. If you email the resort in advance...

After several years in the travel industry it takes quite a lot to impress me when it comes to hotels and resort. This place absolutely blow me away! For once I have nothing, really nothing to complain about. Ratua is a truly unique place. The balineese villas, the food, the atmosphere, the staff, the surrondings, the privacy and constant care...
