I have stayed in both rooms in the main house as well as in both cabins, and can honestly say that Deer Valley B and B made me change my mind about Beds and Breakfasts in general. I am now looking for other places like this one in other areas in Alberta and Canada. I always thought of vacations as...

My boyfriend and I decided to have a weekend away mid June. Upon arrival I had no idea where we were going, or what we were doing in Sundre. We pulled up to deer valley bed and breakfast and as soon as we got out of the vehicle a nice man named Michael greeted us and took us through to...

My boyfriend surprised me with a weekend away to the Deer Valley B&B this February. I could not have asked for a more romantic, beautiful and relaxing setting. The attention to detail in the cottage was incredible! Breakfasts were top notch and the service was always with a smile. I have been to many places around the world and I...

We found Deer Valley Bed & Breakfast after arriving at the place we had reservations and found ourselves literally left out in the cold. We called Alana and Rob late in the evening on Saturday and they told us to come straight over. What a pleasant surprise and what amazing attention to detail. They treated us like royalty the entire...

I never write reviews but I was so blown away by this beautiful place I had to make an exception. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and made to feel very welcome. We stayed in the "Cabin in the Forrest" for 2 nights. This cabin had EVERYTHING you could ever want or need or even imagine including a...

As an earlier review of mine indicated, we visited the Cottage in the Forest for New Years 2012/13 and were so in love with it at that time that we thought it could only be even more magical in the summer. How very right we were! We've just come back from three incredible nights in the Cottage in the Forest,...

The Deer Valley B & B really is flawless - there is nothing more you could ask for a private, relaxing couples retreat. We stayed in the Timber Creek Cottage and were spoiled with luxury, timber frame elegance, with outstanding service. Absolutely loved it.

“We opted for the room with the very modern, large, slate-lined shower instead of the one with the beautiful soaker tub.”

“In the Cabin in the Forest, I liked the second (1/2) bathroom upstairs and the way they located the huge bath -- with a great view of the forest. However, the deck is not protected from the rain. In the Timber Creek Cabin, I liked the breakfast nook, the huge covered deck and the great design of the room. I didn't really care for the two shower heads and for the lights and music in the shower, although I know people who loved it.”
