The hostess at the Bay Hotel could not be more welcoming and helpful and made our nights stay very pleasant . Our room was comfortable if a tad small , the hotel breakfast was delicious and the view of the bay was breathtaking . I can recommend the hotel to anyone .

....from friends of ours who although they hadn't stayed at the hotel had dined in the restaurant on several occasions. The checking in process was easy even though we arrived early, and an upgrade to a suite certainly helped! The views from the hotel are superb and we were treated to 3 days of glorious weather. The food in the...

Perched above the road the terrace at the front of The Bay Hotel has a great view over the bay to the boats drawn up out of the water and the old lifeboat house which is now a restaurant. A friendly smile at reception and we were shortly enjoying delicious fresh crab sandwiches and Cornish clotted cream tea. The warm...

Didn't stop there but called in twice for afternoon tea and became totally addicted to the place. Within seconds it makes you feel so ENGLISH. We ordered tea and biscuits out on the terrace. Served well and with style. Lovely tea, hot water and biscuits. Don't go there if you are not appropriately attired, you will look out of place....

We visited as a party of four for dinner, the lounge bar is smart yet relaxed, ideal for pre dinner drinks and and the restaurant simple yet elegant; the menu read very well and none of us were disappointed, all tucking into three courses and every dish enjoyed. The location, with views across the full width of the bay, is...
