We arrived on the 31st of December 2016 and stayed in the Ruben room. The room was neat and clean. The booking was done through Booking.com and paid in full long before our arrival time. I decided on this place because of the restaurant, as I thought it could be a problem finding an open restaurant on the 31st. On...

Pleasantly pleased with this gem of a lodge. Really 4 star service. Lovely swimming pool to cool off in and good restaurant. Lots of extras (stocked bar fridge) to make you feel comfortable and koeksisters for breakfast - yum!

We stayed here as a family group on the way from Cape Town to the Kalahari. There were 6 of us including 3 children. Daisy Lodge suited our needs, we had one family unit that easily took 4 and one regular twin room. We had the set meal provided by the Lodge, the children found the lack of choice quite...

What a lovely venue to rest after journeying around the countryside. It is very well appointed , the staff are attentive and accommodating. Our room was top class and very comfortable. Would go back and stay there for a few more days! Attention required to the the evening meal that we were served :( The only snag we encountered.

We had a lovely visit. enjoyed the nature and animals. Rooms are spacious and clean. crisp fresh linen... wonderful!. Friendly helpful staff. Service was excellent. We will definitely stay there again. Peaceful and quiet... cellphone reception was not bad, internet not so good... Passed thru with family. Good place to rest especially for the traveller. Staff helpful and food is reasonable. WiFi available but was so slow that couldn't use it, not sure if it's always like that or it was just for that day. Booking was easy. Place is quiet and it's easy to get to the place. Place maybe busy, took...

Everything is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately cellphone reception is poor and WiFi is not free. Rooms are clean and neat. Rustic feel to my overnight stay. Banting friendly options non-existent. I have to admit though, probably some of the best instant coffee sachets I have had the pleasure of finding IN ROOM on my overnight stays!...

We stayed in the Daisy Country Lodge during our honeymoon trip through South Africa. On arrival the staff could not have been more helpful realizing it was our honeymoon they quickly set about to give us their best suit at no extra cost. Our room was clean and well layout. Overall a pleasant fresh and friendly B&B not easily forgotten.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
With magnificent views overlooking the koppies and valleys, Daisy Country Lodge is truly an oasis in this semi-desert area. We are conveniently situated just outside Springbok, an hour’s drive from the Namibian Border and nearly halfway between Cape Town and Windhoek.Experience Namaqualand’s spring flowers, rare succulents, rich history and unreal rock formation. With lots to do and see at Daisy and the surrounding towns, this is a destination worth visiting over a few days. Bring the kids and/or your manageable pets for a relaxing break in a luxurious farm style environment, where you can take walks in the surrounding koppies, cycle, ride horses or take lessons on a neighbouring farm, or run freely in the valleys. After a day full of fun and adventure you can relax at our pool, enjoy a delicious meal in our a la carte restaurant, and thereafter a nightcap or just enjoy the brilliant stars and fresh unpolluted air. ... more   less
