I was there last year...and I feel like going back there once again. The location of the place is heavenly...away from all hustle and bustle. Its so close to nature, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. It is definately an experience to be in midst of the El Yunque rainforest, with the frogs chirping all the time, five min walk to an amazing private waterfall...

Overall, a nice place to stay with all the basics and a good breakfast. Has a hostile-like feel. Their restaurant is closed for the month of October so traveling down to the valley for dinner was a bit of a hike. If you're looking for a good guided tour of the forest, ask for Robin Phillips' number. He's a self...

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Casa Cubuy Ecolodge. We arrived late in the evening, and thankfully, Marianne was kind enough to wait up for us and get us settled in. We had amazing breakfasts both days; an extravagant spread of fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, toast, sweet buns, jam, and more. We loved the serenity of the location (not...

You come to Casa Cabuy for one thing: the incredible views of the mountains and rainforest. You may come to hike on the trails down to the waterfall and swim in the river or just sit out on the veranda and breathe in the mountain air. Whatever, you will commune with nature here. This is the non-touristy side of El...

We had a very nice two-night stay here last week. Located within the boundary of El Yunque, Casa Cubuy has a beautiful view and easy access to secluded trails. We are a young family of three-- Dad carried baby in a frame backpack along the trails and we were able to cross the first river/swimming area using the rope, but...

Wonderful place in the mountains with spectacular views! The rooms were very basic but inviting. There is no tv or phones in the room, but our tv was the spectacular view from our room. The service was great. The breakfast is included and it's the best. We would definitely recommend this place if you want relaxation and tranquility.

We were two 30-year olds looking for a place to stay for one night in El Yunque on 7/2/11. The nicer rated Casa Flamboyant was booked but they recommended to call Casa Cubuy in the south side of the rainforest. The Inn owner's son, Matthew, answered and there began our rainforest adventure. He gave okay directions (we had better understanding...

This is not the place to go if you want to stay in a resort. This is not the place to go if you need nightlife, or shopping, or restaurants or other amenities. However, this is the place to go if you want the following: -Absolute serenity -An almost complete lack of other people -Rainforest waterfall hiking -Fireflies cruising into...

It's true that the rooms are quite basic, but it's an eco-lodge, not a luxury resort. Simple, but clean and comfortable. And with this location I don't really see the need for anything more. The rooms open up to balconies with a sweeping view of the river valley with trailheads beginning right on the property. Breakfast was also simple but...
