The Temple Farmhouse is a beautiful stone farmhouse in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We visited on a sunny spring day and had received very helpful clear instructions from Dawn & Chris prior to our visit. We received a very warm welcome and tour from Chris who was very knowledgeable about the Dales and showed us the...

We stopped here for two nights whilst house hunting in the area.We were warmly welcomed and given all the information we needed. Our room was comfortable and spotless. What a lovely breakfast in the big farmhouse kitchen ! One thing to try....the home made bread !! It actually tasted of bread rather than the bland soggy slices that are normally...

Stayed here for 2 nights as a weekend break/ birthday getaway. Lovely room and the bathroom was excellent too. Great hosts and fantastic breakfast, nothing is too much hassle. Fantastic views and quaint little villages either side of the location of the farmhouse.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Chris and his wife Dawn. They showed us around to our rooms, where the kitchen was and how to get in and out of the house without a fuss. They welcomed our Doberman with open arms and allowed him to trot around where he liked, he really took to Dawn too...

Four of us stayed for one night at Temple Farm. The area provides good walking, historic castles and country towns with a friendly and distinctive feel. Makes you proud of Yorkshire! Chris has a real eye for detail in his home. Everything works, is attractive and clean. We liked the long table for breakfast talk and the food was good...

Fortunately for us there was a last minute cancellation. Our host was charming and very helpful. The house was beautifully decorated throughout with lots of homely touches. Our room, room 2, was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable, we had a lovely nights sleep. Lots of small but thoughtful touches that a lot of b and b's don't have,...

Friendly welcome with an excellent comfortable bedroom. The shower room well sized and would be brilliant for anyone who finds steps hard to manage. A superb breakfast with lots of choice if not a fan of traditional breakfast plus homemade bread! Even so full breakfast very tasty. Next time will bring one of the dogs.

Stayed at this B&B for 5 days, and traveled to Richmond England during the day for visiting friends. A lovely farmhouse - Chris and Dawn took great care in making sure that we had all that we needed and Chris' breakfast is outstanding!
