We stayed overnight recently for the first time since the new owners Kirsteen and Roddy had taken over the Old Vicarage. Pleased to report that it is just as lovely as it always was. A very warm welcome (tea/coffee and the log burner after a horrendous journey in thick fog were just what we needed); very comfortable beds and great...

Our first visit to the Old Vicarage since new owners, Kirsteen and Roddy took over. Made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our rooms and then invited downstairs to the guest lounge to have fresh tea and homemade cookies. Log burner was roaring away, it was lovely and toastie in there, just what...

Visited for 3 days. Very warm welcome by Kirsteen and Roddy. Gorgeous log burner with hot coffee and home made biscuits, on arrival, which were yummy. The building is lovely we had room 1 with a four poster, small shower en suite, but double aspect views which are gorgeous. Kirsteen and Roddy have only had the B and B for...

Five out of five. Ten out of ten. A perfect two night stay. Friendly, helpful and attentive. Roddy and Kirsty are the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Tea and cake on arrival was unexpected but very much appreciated. Thank you.

We have just had our 3rd visit. Because we had been before, and knew it was good, we were a bit careless about the room that we booked and wished that we had paid a bit extra and had a larger room at the back. We had a much smaller room where the wash-hand basin was in the room, rather...

The Old Vicarage was privately owned by a vicar, back in the 18th century. Now it under the TLC of an absolutely charming couple. Warm, friendly, accommodating. We were doing a family gathering and occupied four of their rooms. All rooms were delightfully decorated with comfy beds, linens and en suite bathrooms. Lovely views from all rooms. Breakfasts were custom...

A lovely week in the Dales with family and grandchildren. The weather could have been warmer but it was dry for the most part. The Old Vicarage is in a little village with fantastic views both front and back. The rooms are large and comfortable and the breakfasts really nice. Needless to say I ate too much as I couldn't...

We have been multiple times to this Bed and Breakfast, and each time are warmly welcomed by Grant and Barbara. The place is set in lovely North Yorkshire, with lots of beautiful scenery near by. We are so impressed by the place that we booked for our daughter and son-in-law to visit for her birthday. Both enjoyed their stay and...
