Two nights in room 4 starting with a warm welcome from Kirsteen. We were offered tea or coffee and biscuits in the lounge. There is a wealth of knowledge for the area and the offer to use the guide books for walking. After our first night we both had full English breakfast (cooked by Roddy) after cereal or fresh fruit...

The Old Vicarage is a fantastic place to stay, a beautiful building and wonderful hardworking hosts. We were so impressed with the room we stayed in (room 4), that we decided to stay on for another night. The setting is beautiful and the welcome, the accommodation and the breakfasts were all of the highest quality. The Old Vicarage fully deserves...

Stayed at this beautiful establishment for sadly, only one night only over the easter bank holiday. We were looking for accomodation so we could visit the local Middleham open day and my friend found this lovely establishment which we will certainly book again. On arrival we were offered a welcoming hot drink with homemade biscuits, were given loads of useful...

What a amazing location to stay, the view's from The Old Vicarage are breath taking. The room's alongside facilities at The Old Vicarage are of a high standard, and the breakfast choices are of a 5* standard. The Mackay's our host for the weekend, had a vast knowledge of the local area. All in all it was a 5* stay,...

The B&B is set in the small village of West Witton. A friendly place with stunning views of the local area. Easy to drive to and we did see local busses passing. The B&B is set on the main road which can get busy during the day but you should be out exploring then, at night you dont even know...

Me and the hubbie were sent here as a present for a child free night. Kirsteen and Roddy were amazing hosts, great to get on with and their dogs are also fab (made my day). We had the best nights sleep ever, our room was on the main road and I am a light sleeper but I didn't hear the...

We stayed here over valentines weekend and Roddy and Kirsteen were lovely hosts. They were really friendly...and their dogs and cat too. It was like going from home to home. Our room (room 1) was beautiful and spacious with wonderful views looking out onto the countryside. The only downside was that it was really cold in the room. There was...

We enjoyed a comfortable stay at the Old Vicarage for 2 nights mid week during which we were the only guests. The owners, Kirsteen and Roddy, were friendly and welcoming without being intrusive - we were greeted with tea and home made biscuits in front of a roaring fire on the day we arrived and again the following day when...
