Casa Vagator is a delightful hotel which is beautifully maintained. The architecture of the property is Goan-Portuguese with single storey structures cascading down towards Vagator beach, which it opens onto directly. Being at the heart of Vagator, you are no more than a minute’s walk from some of Goa’s finest restaurants and bars such as Thalassa and Antares. It is...

CASA VAGATOR- a hidden gem! I met SHIELA DHODY the owner of this beautiful property in November 2016, thanks to a friend( Tanya who was turning the youngest 50) and I know I will be eternally grateful to her in the years to come! I left this Hotel in Nov thinking to myself that if I were to come back...

A small hotel with a fantastic scenic view and access to Vagator beach, operated in a very unprofessional manner. We arrived and the room was unprepared. No toiletries. No towels. No tea bags or coffee sachets in the tea/coffee maker. No plug point to connect the kettle. The water heater barely delivers a bucket of hot water before running cold....

The hotel property is simply gorgeous overlooking vagator beach. The rooms have a cottage feel with sea view. Hotel is a gorgeous resort. However the hotel food is very bad. No buffet breakfast. Very limited choice in all three meals. Food-wise it's like a home stay. Rooms had no toiletries. No safe. Limited towels. Very ill equipped. But hotel staff...

We stayed here in January 2017 for a week. It was my most beautiful stay in Goa so far. Our room was located down the hill and had clear beach view. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Lighting is a little low in rooms. Bathrooms are very pleasant with all modern fittings.

Tucked away in the corner of vagator, the resort is a couple of minutes away from some awe-inspiring scenes of the beach. The beach itself is not very crowded except for some spirited, fun loving non-Indians !! The Rooms are very well done, large in size & the service is non-intrusive yet very efficient. Want to have a quite but...

The first impression about the hotel is rather underwhelming. As you walk further into the property, things start to look better. The hotel is on a hill side. So there is some amount of ups and downs, but it isn’t too bad. The rooms are spacious. Most of the Luxury rooms are further down the property and closest to the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Vagator was named one of the Sunburn Chronicle's 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Get a ringside view of this achingly beautiful vista from the cliff overlooking the sands. The jaw-dropping bluffs over the beach have been enticing Goa's hip visitors over the decades. Unable to get enough, Vagator is continues to be the hotbed of the best spots in Goa, and Casa Vagator is the coolest of them all. In its stylish, sophisticated demeanor, it straddles fusion architecture from modern through traditional South-East Asian with ease. Pretty cane chairs and low tables offer a lounge-effect, breakfast tables outside villas take one down cobbled European streets and the thatched roofs give off telling signs of Asian influence. The Resort is home to two Pools,a Business center, three decks overlooking the Vagator beach including the resteraunt/Bar, a Gymnasium and two massage rooms. ... more   less
