I've been lucky enough to stay in this beautiful house several times. Frank & Theresa are wonderful hosts, nothing is ever too much trouble. This house is situated in a beautiful part of Ireland, with blue flag beaches, Croagh Patrick and Clare Island all located close by. If you're looking for a retreat in the West of Ireland there is...

Wonderful position looking out to Achill Island and stunning views of Croagh Patrick. Family home with wonderful welcome and a short distance from a lovely beach. On a good day is great for a swim and a smashing walk at anytime. Will definitely return again and again.

We stayed in Cuaneen House for two nights over the August Bank Holiday Weekend. We were a family group, my sister, her partner, my mother and I. We arrived to a warm welcome from Teresa on Saturday evening. My sister's partner wasn't arriving until Sunday (arriving on a very early flight to Knock). Teresa very kindly told my sister that...

We stayed at this B & B for two nights (June 20, 21, 2015) during our 23-day driving tour about the Emerald Isle. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Frank Sammon, who served us coffee and sweets once we moved our luggage into our room. The room was rather small, but was clean with a excellent en-suite. The view...

This is probably one of the best B&B's I've ever stayed in. The scenic views from our bedroom were breath taking. The beach is just steps away and Croagh Patrick and Clare Island Ferry are both about a 10 minute drive. Teresa will give you a warm and gracious welcome. She helped to make our stay most pleasant and her...

I cannot recommend this B&B more highly. I’ve stayed there twice so far, and will keep going back! The price is very reasonable - €30-35 pps. The location is unbeatable – just a few minutes walk to a blue flag beach. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable. I’ve stayed in one facing the sea, and one further to...

We were fortunate enough to visit Cuaneen House for two nights over the Easter vacation. We lucked out and the weather was gorgeous! There were brand new lambs with their mama's covering the fields. It was fun to watch them frolic with one another. The little beach was just a stone's throw away and my kids (ages 9 and 13)...

The bedroom we had was comfortable size for two people, the beds were good quality and the bathroom was satisfactory. The view from our window was of green fields and a lovely tan-sand beach. The beach is within easy walking distance - about a 10 minute walk at most from the B & B and was a Blue Flag beach...

We stayed here for a couple of nights with a group of friends. Our room was comfortable enough (with lots of blankets on the beds which probably hints at how cold it can get in the winter), although the décor was rather twee for my liking. The full Irish breakfast was ample and well cooked with home made bread, but...
