Arrived at this hostel unfortunately very early in the morning. I had booked through Hostelworld and estimated my arrival time at 8am before I knew the time of the night bus we would take. Our night bus ended up leaving at 22.05 to arrive 7 hours later. Unfortunately it arrive at 3.30am! We headed to the hostel only to refused...

This hostel was recommented in Lonly Planet and probably the most of the travelers are checking in, in Hostal Tiana. The staff was really nice and I felt welcomed. So normaly it seems to be a nice Hostal with a good breakfast included. But I had the worst room during my travel. The first room next to the entry door...

It is 6.21 am as I write this and I have been awake for 2 hours listening to very loud music/karaoke from the street outside. Ear plugs haven't done much to dull the pain! So if you are a light sleeper avoid the front rooms / find a quieter hostel. That aside, use of the kitchen in the evenings is...

The hostal is in the center of this little town. It's a big hostel and have a lot of beds and bathrooms. I read some comments in which people says everything has to be paid, it's bot true. You don't pay for the shower (in the first floor has hot water), you don't pay for the Towel, you don't pay...

The good: clean, inexpensive room. Fast laundry service. Secure gear storage. Excellent book exchange. Definitely your best bet before starting the quilotoa loop. The bad: spotty wifi, unreliable hot water, and the most measly breakfast I've had in Ecuador. Awful old pillows that were incredibly uncomfortable and gross. Hostel can be a bit loud - bring earplugs.

We stayed at Hostal Tiana on our way to Quilotoa. The hostel is conveniently located between Cotopaxi and Quilotoa so we decided to stay after visiting Cotopaxi. The place was very affordable but the room smelled strongly of sewer gas. It was a little sickening to smell that while trying to sleep. The room was also extremely cold at night....

Came for a base for Quilotoa and Chimborazo. Staff was great. Even remembered me by name. Beds were clean. They have a room under watch by camera that you can pay to leave your belongings while doing the loop or other outings. Included breakfast is small to me (2 pieces of bread, fruit, juice and coffee) but you can buy...

The inside of Tiana Hostel looks very cool as well as the outside hangout areas. It's just a cool location! The kitchen is very nice as well and I liked the breakfast. They have two good computers, the rooms are very nice. Unfortunately the beds a really small!

We stayed at Tiana for a few nights, first to acclimatise to the altitude a little and then because we were comfortable and fancied another nights rest! We stayed in a double room (no. 10 has an external window) with shared bathroom. The room cost $25 per night including a good breakfast. The room was large, with table, sofa, and...

I arrived very early in the morning/night from a night bus. The night porter met me & ensured I got to bed quickly, as he could see how tired I was. My dorm room was big & quiet. I was offered more cosy blankets. When I woke up later in the early afternoon, the loaded offered me breakfast, even though...
