We originally booked two nights and ended up staying for four. The grounds are very chilled out, with accommodation dotted around. We stayed in a tiny trailer which was so cute and such good value for money. There is a huge lawn with hammocks and sun loungers scattered around in front of the pier where you can go to dip...

Loved this stay! Family of five squeezed into the "blue" casita and shared beds for three nights. Saved money on breakfast and lunch by using the shared kitchen facilities attached to our room. No a/c, but fans provided along with secure, screened windows that could be opened. Best of all, right on Laguna Bacalar. Walked down the pretty, manicured lawn...

Family hotel has got one of the most attractive and romantic locations near Yucatan coast! I was stunned by the large garden with trimmed lawn, coconut palms, hammocks, water deck... We stayed in a trailer just a few steps from the bay - a bit small but ok for 2 persons of even 3! There is a lot of space...

Called the day before we arrived and they just had a beachside Scamp trailer that we could stay in for a night. It was dirt cheap and a hoot to stay in. A bit tight, but we had a ton of space on the lawn and dock on Laguna Bacalar. Watched snail kites diving into the water for gastropods, relaxed...

This is defenetly one of the best stays we had in our trip yucatan-campeche-quintana roo. The rooms are teally nice and you have a huge garden in front of the lake, with a deck. Full of hamacks and other commodities to lay down and relax. They have cayaks and the water is amazing for swiming. Really nice staff.

We stayed in Azul room which came with a shared living room and kitchen which was great for our kids to run around. there is lot of space outside on waterfront to relax and run around. There are 2 swimming areas walking distance from the hostel and ofcourse you can swim right out from the hostel pier.

When I arrived at the Casita Carolina “Green Room”, I was not expecting to be next to the kitchen; my door was in front of the stove and I could smell gas, which was of concern. At 1am my concern changed. I became awakened by the door which had been opened, but not forcibly. Upon further inquiry, much to my...

We chose the Casitas Carolinas because of their great location right on the Laguna and because of the great reviews on TripAdvisor. Nothing really went wrong but the place also did not live up to our expectations. When we arrived we noticed that they were apparently adding an extra floor to the main building and some of the usual common...

Casita Carolin offered the best value of all the hostels we inquired at on the waterfront. It is a short 3-5 minute walk from the downtown area, and right on the water (best of both worlds). Our group of 4 got one room with two king beds, no AC but being on the water and having 3 fans going at...

We would have preferred to stay on one of the little Casitas on the property, but we're only able to bike the trailer, "Boler". It was a good price for such an accommodation, 300 pesos. We did have to share the toilets in the garden. Unfortunately the kids at the resort were using them too... Pee on the seats etc....
