This place barely meets minimum standards. The rooms are small with old furniture. Sheets are stained. Towels threadbare. TV has only local language channels. Wifi is erratic, but most of the time there is no signal to connect to. Hot water is unreliable. The bathroom would benefit from a liberal application of bleach and toilet bowl cleaner.
This was a stop between Larkana and Sukku. From here one may go to Kot Diji Fort and also one of the oldest Indus Valley sites. The layout is basic with the rooms off a corridor leading directly from the reception area. My room has all the key requirements. There was a double bed, bathroom with shower, air conditioning and free WiFi. I had no problems as the water was scalding, sheets were clean and the toilet (sit down) was operational. Others in our party did have some slight issues which were addressed immediately. Food was more than adequate. As usual breakfast was omelette, toast etc. It is important to remember that tourism is in its nascent state. The willingness of the staff more than compensated for any slight discomfort.
Luckily I only spent one night here. The whole place needs updating. The room was basic - had to ask for a second sheet. The towels had to be changed as they were dirty. Only hot water was in the evenings. Simple breakfast but lunch was really good. Wifi in reception good - when you asked the staff to turn it on!!
This is supposed to be "best available" in this area, so we put up with it. The whole place is dingy, dirty and dark. The room and bathroom are a disgrace with wallpaper hanging off the wall, bare electrical wires dangling out of (non working) powerpoints and smelly toilet. The beds have no proper linen, everything smells. We avoided the restaurant and just had tea with paratha. Pakistani truck stop.
