Four of us and a toddler visited last night and enjoyed hearty plates of well cooked food, served in a timely fashion. A good range of choices on the menu, followed by delicious sweets. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The Cross Keys in Denholm is well known in the Borders and beyond as having the best carvery/roast lunch in the area. We enjoyed Sunday lunch there on Mother's Day. The place was packed and there was a great atmosphere. The carvery food was simply superb, and the staff did a sterling job in keeping the queue at a manageable...

Ideal when you are away from the comforts of your own home for a few days. Service with a smile, and very good service at that - keep up...

They came around unprompted with quilts and heaters, and did all they could to make me comfortable. On the Friday night, they moved me to a room further from the bar so I would not be disturbed by noise. Comfortable,...

I had lunch here with a group of friends and everyone enjoyed their meal. There was a wide choice on the menu, plus the daily blackboard. Helpings were generous and there were plenty of vegetables. I would recommend the lamb casserole, which was delicious. Puddings were very good and there was also the choice of coffee/tea and a tray-bake. Staff...
